We found them on Angie's List and we use them all the time. They did a nice job, they always do. I'm not a good one to judge price, but my Husband thinks they are good. We have them on speed dial.

they forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the wheel causing the studs to sheer off and the wheel came off WHILE DRIVING.
They returned the car to the owner and within 50 miles the studs that hold the wheel on SHEERED OFF WHILE DRIVING, causing the wheel to come off, because the mechanic forgot to tighten the lug nuts. after speaking with the owner, Brian, he took no responsibility for the damage. said it was not his fault and would not fix or pay for the repair. he said it could have been from when the car was last inspected, 4-5 months prior, and that we should call OUR insurance company to file a claim. there is NO WAY all five lug nuts could come loose at the exact same time, months later, and cause the wheel to break the studs and come off the car. what a jerk. you can tell he has been dodging bullets like this for a long time and knows the tricks of the trade. Brian is a perfect example of why mechanics get a bad name. the owner is a cheater, a liar, and is not trustworthy. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS!!!!

Townline Garage did a great job on replacing my original manual transmission with approximately 104,000 miles on it with a used transmission with about 52,000 miles. The job itself took about a week. I didn't care since I was out on disability and thought this would be the opportune time to get it done. I spoke with the owner a couple times to get an update on the progress. He was always willing to discuss what was completed at the time of my calls. I also had the flywheel resurfaced and a new clutch kit installed since everything was disassembled anyway when the transmission was replaced. He recommended this service since I already paid for the labor to have the transmission removed. It's been three months now and the transmission runs like a champ. Very smooth and quiet. I definitely recommend Townline Garage for their prompt, courteous and professional service. Will use them again for future auto needs.
