Well. The roofers were very neat, quick, and efficient. They assisted in clearing the roof of plant containers and other items. Everything was left in tidy order.

We needed a General Contractor that could handle the challenges of modernizing our home which was built in 1938. Steve Wagner and his men listened to our ideas and were able to implement them with the highest quality workmanship and professionalism. Wagner was punctual,neat,courteous and communicated well on all aspects of our renovation. His quotations were accurate and reasonable. Steve Wagner and his men pay attention to detail and have an equally competent group of subcontractors that they use. I would recommend Wagner to anyone in need of an honest hands on General Contractor. We felt very fortunate to have hired Wagner Construction as our GC and have received many compliments on their work. Thank you.

Repair perfectly restored the fence. It was done expeditiously, at the time promised, at the quoted cost, which was competitive. A couple repairs were made to the existing fence, the need of which wasn't known but were taken care of, no additional charge. Cleanup was complete, all debris was taken away.

After receiving an estimate for replacement of the roof on my house and garage, I sent in a signed contract. I never received back a finished contract with a signature from the company. I went through endless delays, and never even received a date to do the work after months and months of delays. I called the office and kept on being told that the roofing material was on order (before they even asked me what tiles I wanted) and then that it was on back order with the company. I wrote letters, and even visited their offices in an attempt to get the work done. All was in vain. The last communication from them was literally the week of the New Year, as if I was supposed to agree to have my roof completely replaced at the coldest time of the year after they had delayed for 10 months. A very negative experience.

It went great. I wasn't available all the time to see the construction through but from what I did see while there, they were great and courteous. I was informed about every step and made to feel extremely comfortable. The workers started working in the morning and worked just about none stop until completion. I checked the work at night when I could and all was well; just like the plans we originally spoke about. Communication - Great Billing process - Extremely smooth All employees (15 to 25+) that serviced the home - Courteous, prompt & professional After performing my daily inspections I had little to complain about. Every so often I would call him in the morning; he was nice enough to give me his mobile number during the renovation, I would ask him questions pertaining to concerns during my inspection and he would explain every aspect. It was a pleasure from start to finish.

After interviewing 5 companies to do this job, Wagner Construction was the one that stood out. Turns out we made the right choice. From beginning to end, Steve Wagner and crew were punctual, professional, and did top notch work on every phase of the job. I had to special order some outside lights and they came back a couple months later to install them. My wife and I are very happy with our "new" house and have received many compliments. I would definitely hire Wagner Construction again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

The owner came to give me an estimate and he was very nice. The workers came and completed the roof installation and I was very please with them they were very professional and cleaned up every piece of the old roof. would definitely use them again

I thought they did very good work and I was pleased with them. They also cleaned up too and I thought that was good. I would use them again.

They did a beautiful job. They did everything they said, cleaned up and everything was really good. We got a lot of compliments on the roof from our neighbors. The Wagner did everything for the roof and any kind of repair to the infrastructure of other roof. I would use them in the future.

All I can say is that Steve Wagner made an extremely traumatic experience easier. While dealing with so many people who don't respond or answer calls, he was always there and always did what he had to. I would definitely recommend him and, of course, everything went well.

Wagner outdid themselves, providing excellent on time work while coping with our erratic schedule for them to do their work. Wagner accepted MasterCard for payment, in 3 installments, with final payment after work inspection, in keeping with our schedule. We have never worked with a contractor as good and as flexible as Wagner. We recommend Wagner without hesitation.

They were prompt and their price, explanations and thoroughness were fine.

I wasn't prepared for someone to be so abrasive. I appreciate the fact he let me know that he couldn't let complete the work on my house. But the way Ken phrased it he made it sound like it was my fault. It was almost as though he wanted an easy clean cut job. I think he represented his company very poorly.

They were supposed to show up December 3, 2011(I may be off on the exact date ) to start the work, on the date when they indicated that the work was to be done, all residents were advised to remove their cars from the back, 12 units in this building. It was late morning and they didn't show up, I called the office, and the secretary advised me that they were not coming on that date, the rain from last week had delayed their progress on other projects prior to ours. I asked her why she could not have called to let us know, and she could not answer the question. In any case, the work was done a few days later, it seemed that the work quality was terrific until I received a notice from a resident that she is still getting water from the roof. Wagner Construction sent a representative in January 2012 to investigate, there was a metal bracket that needed to be adjusted. I can not say whether or not that Wagner was responsible for that piece or not, but if they were hired to do a roof and saw a problem that would have caused water activity in the building, they had to know that we needed to address it. In any case, after the adjustment, there was no more water entering the apartment but now the resident had damage to her ceiling. I called back and spoke Kenny/Steve and they said they will speak to the rep that adjusted he metal bracket and let me know about the damage in the unit. I called 3 times since then and the last conversation was that they were not going to make any money on this project, this is not my problem. In any case, we gave up, I called a contractor I usually use, he came in and fixed the ceiling damage. All in all, the roof work, I felt was great, with exception to the above problem, but due to their behavior in handling the leak problem I will not use them in the future.

We had some roof damage as a result of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene. I spent much of September and early October figuring out which roofing company to use. After several visits by companies I didn't particularly care for, in the 3rd or 4th week of October 2011, I called Wagner Construction. A good friend of my parents recommended them. The owner came a few days after my initial call, and did something not one of the other companies did...actually get on the roof, look at the damage, and spend the better part of an hour doing it, writing it up, talking to me about the choices, etc. He came in with a price that was very good, and 2 or 3 days later I gave him a buzz. He did tell me there were about 2 weeks behind, and since our roof damage did not include any leaks, time wasn't that big of an issue. That said, 2 weeks turned into 4, and eventually in week #5 they called and said they would be there. Again, not the biggest deal--heck if they told me they'd be 4 weeks behind I still would have done business with them. He did say they were very busy at the time. When they did come, everything was professional and orderly. A big truck showed up at 7A and dropped off all of the material. At 8:45, workers showed up. By 3:30PM, the job was completed. And the best part? I found only 1 nail on the entire property from the work -- cleanup was amazing. I would definitely recommend them to others for roofing, and I would use them again for any roof issues.

They were very nice. He walked around my house and gave me an estimate. They were a little high but they are definitely nice. I didn't end up using them but I really liked them. They were very up front with me. They were here the same day or next day I called. The reason I didn't use them was because their pricing was high.

They never showed up. They also never called to let me know that they weren't coming. I waited the whole day for them.

After getting several quotes from GAF Roofing Contractors in my area. I choose Wagner Construction Company to do my roof because they gave me best value for the price. I was quoted $7700 for both Roof & New Gutters. Everyone from customer service to installation workers were courteous & friendly. The only complaint I have is after installation, only my flat roof still leaks sometimes during heavy rain. I called them twice about the issue & so far no one has come to fix it.
