The job was done quickly and professionally exactly as promised. “Joe”, who I believe is the owner of this factory authorized business ordered the part, which was delivered on time, and installed it, cleaning up afterward. He even went out of his way to do the job late on a Saturday afternoon, scheduling the work at my convenience. He truly exceeded our expectations.

Ken Suhovsky came to the house on April 30, 2014 and measured for the ten windows I needed to have replaced (the windows were original to the house from 1955). It’s been just about one month and I have NOT been emailed/mailed a quote from him as he promised. No follow up call, no email, no mail - NOTHING.
I gave Ken my business card which has my email address printed so I know it’s not a clerical error plus when I originally walked in to the Hicksville show room I was told to fill out a “ lead sheet” by Lynn which my home address was clearly on. Based upon this unprofessional and sloppy experience by Ken Suhovsky of Nassau Window and Door I would NEVER use this place and have already told friends and family about my situation. It’s sad because I obviously need windows replaced and these contractors say it’s hard to get work but if they never follow through and give an estimate – so how can they complain?
Bottom Line: Use the time to have another company measure for you (Pella or Andersen) because you can be guaranteed you'll receive an estimate as promised ... not from this place.

Great company that is very easy to work with. Joe and Sal deserve a pat on the back for all the extra time and energy that they have to us.

Their sales people are extremely professional and highly informed of the products available and take into consideration the cost, which is very rare these days. The products came in on time and were delivered between the time frame promised. I will be using them in the future - why mess with success?

They were prompt and easy to work with. They discovered a problem with one of the windows and fixed the problem. It was a great experience. They were wonderful. Their prices were excellent. I would use their services again in the future.

We needed to replace two old double hung windows. Nassau came out and measured and sent me several estimates with options. They helped me decide and within six weeks the windows were delivered and installed. The installers were prompt courteous and extremely professional. They finished the job on time and we couldn't be happier with the end result. I would use these folks again in a minute. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, Lynn was great. She followed up with me the following day when she didn't know the answer to our questions. I really like this company and would most definitely use them in the future. The entire process went seamlessly and effortlessly.

We were please with the window purchase and installation. The crew was knowledgeable and worked diligently. We did have an issue where on window was measured incorrectly and had to be reordered. Luckily, this was realized before the old window was ripped out. I note that the window error was not a mismeasurement, it was a mistake made by assuming that two parralel windows were the same size, as you would expect them to be. In our case, the one window was a bit small. I feel another installer might have made it work with fillers and I'd have a drafty window after all was said and done. I was happy that NDand W did the right thing and ordered a new window. Also, since they were unable to install the mis-sized window, they gave us the option of replacing the second window in that room when they came back, instead of making a mess in the room twice. We appreciated that option and they came back a few weeks later to install the other two windows.

I liked that NDand W handled both the purchase and the installation. It seemed like alot of other places sold windows and left you to find an installer. Overall, I was happy with NDand W and I would use them again.

They are very knowledgeable and they did a very professional job. The work was a bit complicated because the brick was on the foundation and it was difficult to install the windows but they did a very good job.
