The guy who came out did an okay job but he was kind of annoying and then the next time I had them come back the owner came and he was better, so overall it was a positive experience. Their prices were okay. They weren’t great. I live in an expensive area.

Company was one of two I contacted.  I used the other company.

The service was excellent!  I hired Kevin Kelly after a large exterminating company had come to rid us of fleas and botched the job.  The other company actually sprayed chemicals near my baby!  Kevin came in, and started with the least toxic methods because I had a baby and pets.  He kept at the problem until it was resolved.  He even made suggestions about how to treat the cats!  A couple of years later, a family of rats moved in when the weather turned cold.  Kevin set traps, placed poison in inaccessible places, inspected for entry points and even came back to remove corpses.  He even took a hysterical call from me over the weekend after I saw one running through our living space.  He eradicated all of the rodents and we haven't had a problem since.

We had a good experience with this company.  I came home at 8:30 a.m. to find ants crawling around the kitchen and bathroom.  By 10:30 a.m. Ryan was at our home and spraying away.  We have never used an exterminator before and while $400 seems high for 30-45 minutes of work ($200 for spider spray, $200 for ant spray), I can't fault the company for their responsiveness and professionalism.  Plus the fact that the ants are all gone.

They are very good.  I found them on Angie's list.  They have been here several times during the spring.  The guy who comes out, leaves me a note every month about what he found.  They are quite cheaper than another company I was using before.  When I was using a different company before, they could not find that there were termites in my house; however, Kelly was able to find the termites during the same time.

I had hornets.  I called Kelly.  I no longer have hornets. 

For several years earlier I had contracted with a national franchise company closely associated with this pest.  At the end it was conclusively shown to me that they had failed to properly monitor their termite baiting system with the result that two years ago the tenant living in my basement apartment experienced repeated termite swarms over a period of several weeks.  It took repeated phone calls to the national franchise to even get them to visit and then their treatment was ineffective. A year ago I contracted with Kelly Exterminating, at a price one third less than I had been paying the national franchise.  During the season Ryan visited the property once a month and left me a note detailing which bait stations had active termites.  When I reported a swarm in March Ryan was there the next day and treated all exposed wood surfaces.   A few weeks later there was a second swarm and Ryan was there again the next day with a different treatment.  We have seen nothing since, but Ryan has explained to me that if the swarmers return we might have to install a bait trap in an unfinished area of the basement. Kelly exterminating has been easy to reach, responsive, professional and gives me great confidence that they will finally solve this problem.  Since I am a non-resident landlord I especially appreciate their willingness to work directly with my tenant so I do not have to be there when they need interior access.

Great experience, which seems strange given the nature of the visit. Ryan was great and we have not seen any signs of the mice since his visit. He also didn't try to sell us any services we didn't need. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and honest. Couldn't be happier.

I had a bad experience with a national name pest control company. They were hard to reach and their system had not controlled my termite problem. Ryan from Kelly Exterminating inspected the bait stations with me and showed me where there were active termites that had consumed the bait, but the bait had not been replaced allowing the problem to continue. Kelly's price for one year of maintenance was actually lower than the national name and Kelly promises to check the bait stations monthly in season rather than every three months, although it is possible that other services included in the national contract are not included in Kelly's. Within two weeks of our initial visit Ryan left a note that he had been back to check the bait stations and reported on what he found. Of course, the proof will be in a year when we see if the termite problem is solved. However Kelly has given me confidence that the problem will be solved. I am happier dealing with a local business rather than a national chain. In addition, when I asked Ryan's advice on a different service for a separate property, he told me that he didn't think I needed further services. I appreciated his honesty. He could have sold me additional services which I did not need. (The sales rep from the national chain lost no opportunity to attempt to sell me additional services when I was dealing with them. In fact, the appearance of the sales rep was the only thing reliable about that company.)

He installed little disks all around the house to take care of the termites.

I called around for quotes and Kelly Exterminating's price ($125-175) was about $100 cheaper than that of two bigger companies ($250) for the same service. Their service people were friendly and professional. They scheduled the appointment quickly and the exterminator was prompt on the day of the appointment. The exterminator clearly explained the process of extermination (spraying a powder directly into the nest), how long it would take (about 10 mins) and the results we could expect (no more yellow jackets by the very next day).

They were very good. I thought they were very honest and reasonable in terms of price. They provided good service. I dealt with one person and he had a very good attitude and was very professional.

Kelly had been helpful on the phone. Although there was the possibility of a cost for a complete inspection, Kelly didn't charge it because we had gotten a good idea of our situation from the first inspections. The first (local) exterminator wanted to inject a pesticide all around the foundations - this sounded like a good idea initially. The second exterminator was from a national chain and said the house was "riddled" with termites (not true) and tried very hard to sell us on a bait system and yearly maintenance. The third (and local) exterminator was highly recommended on Angie's List - and they suggested the bait system too - but we felt their commitment to once a month inspection and maintenance of the bait system was more reliable than the national chain (we internet researched the chain and found several references to bad service). The Kelly man came, inspected, the bait stations were installed within a week with minimal evidence. We were confident we made the right decision.

Kelly was the only company to charge us for a termite inspection (only $125) and did not try to sell us $1500 - $3000 in preventive services. They ascertained that we did not require full termite prevention program and offered a solution that was inexpensive and comforting We would use them again for any and all service they provide. They were absolutely the most thorough and honest.

Great experience. The exterminator came for what he thought was a routine job. Unfortunatel,y his poisoning of the nest drove the Yellowjackets into the house, so he came back again to locate the entry point the insects were exploiting to enter the house and to make sure they were destroyed. Mission accomplished - no more Yellowjackets.

THEY'RE VERY GOOD AND EXPENSIVE. THE GUYS ARE NICE AND FRIENDLY. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, BUT THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IF I HAD TO.

IT WAS GOOD. WE CONTACTED THEM, AND THEY CAME. THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IF WE HAD TO. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS GOOD. UNFORTUNATELY WITH INSECTS IT'S HARD TO KNOW. THEY SOMETIMES COME BACK ANYWAYS. IT WAS A HECK OF A LOT BETTER AFTERWARDS. IT WAS VERY GOOD.
