The service was outstanding. Service was performed in a timely manner and the plumber cleaned up well after the job.

I called on Tuesday when I discovered water around the base of my furnace. The gal I spoke to (Beverly) was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She had a technician come out the very next day. He was punctual, very nice and got right to work. He finished everything up in just over an hour and provided me a full explanation of services. I would most definitely recommend McAllister and would not hesitate to call them again if necessary.

I hired them because I live in a 200 year old home and there was no duct work at all. They installed new furnace and installed all the duct work. They did a great job and very happy with the outcome. I have had no problems so far. They have a good reputation in this area and that's why I hired them to begin with.

This leak had been a problem for some time,with no solution from other consultations. MC Allister came up with a successful approach, made the repair in a few hours and charged a reasonable price.

Great experience overall, I am highly satisfied and would recommend this company to all of my friends and family!

Gary came out a couple of weeks before the job to inspect the house an property and to gather what needed to be done. He called me back with an estimate the next day. It was reasonable and I said to go ahead and schedule the job. Excavator, plumber, and plumber's helper arrived at the agreed upon time and work began. Chris (the plumber) began working on the boiler while the excavator and the helper worked on digging a trench to the well and for the new water line. There was an issue with the boiler's pressure gauge being broken in a way that made it impossible to remove with standard tools, but Chris was able to get the job done with heat. With the water line installed and the boiler done, Chris and the helper worked on installing the sump pumps, gas line, etc.. The job took all day which was to be expected considering the amount of work that needed to be done, but they got it done right and in a professional manner - no corners were cut. Their communication before and after the job is outstanding. Beverly in the office calls before hand to make sure everything is set, and follows up afterwards to ensure the service was satisfactory. The price was appropriate considering the professionalism of the company and it's employees and I have no doubts that if I had any problem with their work they would do whatever was necessary to rectify the issue. I wouldn't use anyone else.

The technician who came out was polite and pleasant. He knew what he was doing . He evaluated my furnace and explained what was broken. He fixed it and it works great now. I will have them come back here if anything else breaks in my house. I was very impressed and pleased with this company.

The technician was very hard to speak with, as if he was shy. He only wanted to sell us a new boiler, when we just wanted to bleed the lines. He gave us an estimate to fix it (it wasn't broken) ~$800 but a new boiler would be ~$3000 and he didn't want to talk about fixing it because he said we should just buy a new one. Getting info through conversation was difficult. Not sure if it's the company policy to only sell new boilers instead of fixing them or if the technician just didn't want to fix it. We are looking for a second opinion, maybe we just need a different technician, but it was costly enough that we wont try McAllister again.

It was a good experience. They showed up on time and did the job. One of the parts they needed is not normally in stock in most plumbing houses, so they came up with a creative way to get the part running.

It went very well my pump was fixed and one less thing to worry about. The service man was very helpful in explaining in detail what was wrong.

On the day of the appointment, the company called to let me know the technician was on his way. Everyone was very professional and you could tell the company made sure that everyone followed the same line of excellent customer service. The repair was fast, thorough, and the technician made sure he showed me exactly what he had done and why. No problems since the repair. I have to say that no matter what company you use (electrician, plumber, etc.) I must still live mentally in the 50's because I expect everything to be under $50. But I have had this company quote me on larger jobs and they price their services very competitively, and if they know you are shopping around, will do all they can to not only make their quote a good one, but throw in some freebies!

I have always had good luck with them. They put on little booties. They are clean.

They are very professional, and always on time. I will continue to use them!

The equipment was dropped off at the house the evening before the work began, just as they told me it would. They started shortly after 8:30 AM and worked steadily all day, only stopping when it got dark. They would have completed this major job in one day except for an equipment problem. They returned 2 days later to finish the work and even came back to re-grade the property. Do: Ask to take pictures and walk around to see what they are doing. They were very open to answering questions and making sure that I understood what they were doing each step of the way. Since their work was being buried I wanted to be comfortable that they did a complete job with no short cuts.

It went well. I can't think of any negatives when dealing with McAllister.

They were very punctual, called before arriving, and finished in a very reasonable amount of time. I also called them for a quote on replacing our heating and cooling systems and they were considerate, honest, and professional in their presentation. They did not "hound" me after the estimate, either - something I appreciate.

I think we called them one day and they came out the next day. We didn't have hot water. They came out when they said they would. We have used them a couple of times. They are reputable. They are good and very reasonably priced. Their price was what they said it would be. We would definitely use them again. We would definitely recommend them from all the plumbers we have used.

Fortunately, the furnace part held out until Mark came back with the new part. Mark is knowledgeable and he worked quickly. I felt completely at ease. Even with the $50 Sunday/ after hours fee, the job was very reasonably priced.

They came out and did some work but never got the furance working correctly for long term.

Price was competative,installation was completed on time and system performs as stated. Please note this company does NOT clean hot air ducts.

We were totally satisfied with them. We had six to seven people quote for the job and we decided to go with them. They were in and out the same day, no problem.

They are good. They come out and do a good job. Their price was reasonable, but I felt that it could have been a lot better. I was happy overall.

They had come a month or two prior. The problem wasn?t fixed as there was a leak. I was being charged. They were supposed to fix the problem, but they didn?t. They even charged me for transportation to my house. I was charged by the hour. They charged me for the time they took to reach from where they were. I had called them and complained. I was really disappointed with their service. I spent a lot of money. However, the problem didn?t get fixed. The owner was willing to decrease the price a little, but I wasn?t happy with it. I felt that I was being overcharged. I am going to look for another plumbing company. I will not use this company again in the future.

Overall the experience was good. I have heard that the part is around $60 soio that meant he charged me $140.00 for the service call. My one concern was that the same tech was out in the fall of 2009 to perform a furnace tune up. I advised him of a strange grinding noise coming from the furnace when it turned on. He thought that it was okay qnd left after tuning up the furnace. This sound continued to happen every time the furnace came on until the day it died. After he replaced the igniter in the winter, the sound went away. I believe that if he had taken the time to check out this noise in the fall, I never owul fdhave had the breakdown in the winter just a few months later.

Arrived as planned and installed equipment, hauled out old furnace and completed the job in six hours, no problem. Cleaned up the site, wore appropriate footware and protected floor coverings as needed. Workman like and professional crew of two completed the install and customer training in equipment use. Well done.
