"This review, and the termination of our agreement both come as a surprise. We made every effort to accommodate the client's schedule (Weekends and Holidays only), and did not require a down payment to commence work. We were on time every day agreed, including Columbus Day, and offered additional works outside our scope at no cost in the interest of the client's budget. After the agreement was made, the client proceeded to do demolition and prep-work for our install prior to our start. When we came on Saturday, it was clear additional framing was required for the client to have a smooth and level ceiling. Also, the joist was cracked above, and needed to be repaired. With the new framing, all the receptacles would need to be moved down to the new flat ceiling and reinstalled. We offered to provide the labor and material for these repairs at no additional cost. The following Saturday we were asked to install drywall where we had made preparations for her to install her own shiplap on the walls. I offered the additional labor cost, and proceeded to purchase and load the drywall myself, readying my crew for Monday's install. Still having not received any down payment. Monday we began the additional works outside our original scope. I requested a first payment. At this point labor and materials were provided. I was given $200. At this point the prep work was complete and we were about to begin the core of our contract work. With no reasoning, and my request to rectify any issues, we were asked to leave. This was moments after the first payment was received. We respectfully cleaned up any debris, swept, laid down new floor protection and packed up our tools. I walked the client through to show exactly where we were in our progress, and what needed to be do done by any following contractors or family members attempting to finish our work. All materials purchased were organized and ready for install. We wish the best of luck to the client on the remainder of the project."

"10/10 would work for Stephanie again!"
