TIM BAXLEY TREE INC

We used these guys following Hurricane Sandy on the recommendation of two neighbors. When they came they were professional and reviewed a large double trunk tree that fell and was resting on our roof. The discussed in detail the fact that it the removal would require attention due to the weight of the tree. After much discussion we agreed on a price of $2400 to remove the tree clear of the property and to grind the stumps; the latter would be done at a later date as they didn't have the gas.

The team arrived and removed the tree from the roof but left the debris in the yard; that night they called to see if they could pick up the check. We explained that the job wasn't complete and that no they couldn't, they didn't know. The following day their team returned and removed the debris to the side of the street, so that they town would be responsible for clearing it. They then continued to call to see if they could get the check.

When the itemized bill was presented, it was for $2,500 and did not include the stump grinding, that would be another $500.

All in all a terrible experience, we'd not use these guys again.

He was amazing. He was very good. He was professional and punctual. He cut it all up. He cleaned up after himself. It was a really big tree and they were really good with the work. I would use them in the future.  

Fantastic!  I had done some comparison shopping and found his estimate to be exactly what I thought it would be.  He estimated the job while I was at work (at my request), then called and scheduled a removal date with me (next business day).  Could not have been easier.  Very happy, and highly recommend!

From the time we scheduled the estimate, to the time the work was completed, it was really a very smooth process.  I called up and left a message, my call was returned promptly, we scheduled an estimate later that day.  When they came for the estimate, he gave me a price right on the spot and we booked a date right there to have the work done.  On the day of the work, they showed up on time and they had a crew chief that was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had.  They did the job and cleaned up after themselves, aside from trees being removed, it was as if they were never there.  After they left we noticed that we wanted to have a tree pruned back further, we called and they came back to finish things the way we wanted without any issue at all.  A great expereicne overall and we plan on using them in the future.

They were good and didn't damage any trees around them.  The price was reasonable.

Job went very well. We had three or four workers there. Tim came and gave us estimate and they came within a day or two to take down tree. This tree was huge and located in a samll back yard. Workers were very careful not to drop branches on the neighbors lawn and they also cleaned up the mess and the street very well when job was finished.

Quote delivered during visit to site within 1 week of contact call. Work completed on agreed upon date by a crew of 3. Only disappointment was that Tim did not personally supervise the work or check completeness. The crew completed the job with my input - but I think Tim could have provided expert guidance to improve the final trimming results for the large trees.

Everything went exactly as it should have: the workmen showed up when they were supposed to, did the work requested, cleaned up the debris, and left. Excellent!

Tim first came out to view our yard and hear our expectations. He gave us a quote of $300, which we thought was very reasonable in light of the work we needed done. We set a date and he and his crew promptly returned at that time. They were all very polite and extremely efficient. Everything was quickly removed, the two shrubs neatly relocated (and now thriving), and they cleaned up as they worked. I would highly recommend Tim!

We liked their price, efficiency and punctuality, and it was everything that I had expected. It worked out perfectly well for us.

He came out on time for the most part and did a very good job. His prices are very good and only charged me 600 for each tree that he took down and 250 to trim my large maple tree. Unfortunately, he did show up late on occasion but managed to finish the work promptly when he was here.
