 + -1 moreI used Don-Joe auto body for fixing my vehicle that was involved in an accident in approximately June 2014. I used Don Joe because it was a Geico recommended auto body. The representatives were professional, the work done was fine, and they were punctual. However, the parts used were after market and not from the dealer. This was mainly because they were working with Geico. So I couldn't tell if they had an incentive to use cheaper parts. I will resuse them for minor work or if I don't go through Geico.
Description of Work: Auto body work on my new vehicle following a minor accident.

 + -1 moreI found Don-Joe's on Angie's List. I called, and the person I spoke to was very professional. I was able to bring my car in for an estimate the very next morning, which was given on the spot by someone who clearly knew what he was doing and was very professional. I am not sure if the price he quoted was good or not, but the reviews on Angie's List were so positive that I decided not to get another estimate. Don-Joe's lived up to the great reviews. I was able to bring my car in a couple of days after I got the estimate, rented a car from the onsite Enterprise location, and my car was completed on time the next day, looking good as new. I highly recommend Don-Joe's to anyone who is unfortunate enough to need auto body repair.

 + -1 moreI was told the body work would take 3 days. I scheduled the car to be dropped off a month before I did. The body work actually took 6 days to complete. Chris was not very nice about it when I complained that it took twice as long as his estimate.

Description of Work: I had been sent to Don Joe Auto body by Geico on 11/14/2013. They did an excellent job and were Extremely polite and professional. Around the 2 of January 2014 we had a snow storm here in New York. As I brushed the snow off the hood of my car the Emblem fell off into the snow. I called Don Joe and spoke with Victor. He could not have been nicer,he told me to just drop in at MY convience. I went todayand was taken immediately and the emblem was put back on . Victor explained and showed me how the emblems are attached. It was a terrific experience in a situation that is generally upsetting. I highly recommend them ! And they deserve special mention for how well they treat their customers as well as how they stand behind their work.

 + -1 moreI must say, I was nervous about having shoddy work done on my Porsche that, despite the work being done at the time, was in near perfect condition. This is a Geico approved repair station so I was concerned of getting a second rate job done, but that was not the case at all. Don Joe did a GREAT job on my fender repair, and it actually came out looking better than before the accident (ie minor scrapes and scratches were gone). My review is based on a one time visit, but you usually get a vibe on the quality of work done on site, and I got a very good vibe about this place. To prove the point, I plan on going back there to get an estimate on some other small items I would like fixed.
Description of Work: Bodywork on Porsche that was damaged in fender bender. Work performed as part of Geico insurance claim.

 + -1 moreQuickly done and the car looks beautiful. They even washed and vacuumed the car before I picked it up.
Description of Work: This was a Geico insurance recommendation and I had my doubts. I am thrilled that I took my auto to Don Joe. Geico arranged for the inspection, the collision work and a rental car from Enterprise all within 45 minutes. The repair is excellent and Victor, the manager, is THE BEST. He is knowledgeable, respectful, and made sure that I was satisfied with the work done. As I was on a tight schedule, he said that he would do everything he could to get the car back to me asap. Once the parts were received, he completed the work by the next day and the car looks great.
