I called for what I thought was a simple repair of a toilet. My serviceman arrived in 2 hours which was wonderful. He showed me the issues and explained everything as he went along. I decided on a full replacement. I was offered many options for replacement without any hard sell tactics. He then cleaned and serviced my heating system. My serviceman , Ken, was knowledgeable, professional and his work was meticulous. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

Our boiler went, and they sent somebody out and they tried out with a couple of parts that had to be replaced, and then while they were there, they said we actually should get a whole house surge protector because they thought that would rule out the boiler when we get power outages and then power goes back on and makes a surge again, and we didn't realize. We only had surge protector for the computer and the TV. We didn't have it for the boiler and didn't think that would be big deal, but it turned out we found out later that it ends up causing the custom on and off of power if we get power outages, they will just keep working at the electronics and finally blow them out, so we had the surge protector put in at the same time. We then went on to the annual maintenance agreement where they will come each year and check everything out. The parts were expensive and everything worked after that. They were little pricey, but they got the job done efficiently. I would rather pay for something to have it done right the first time than have to keep calling and come back. The guys diagnosed the problem right away. Actually there were two problems with the boiler, and they were able to fix that. Also one of the plans on getting the maintenance agreement, they put me at the head of the line, therefore if I have problem again, they will come at night or whatever. They are not going to make me wait saying they can't come for a week or so. Like is that the price we pay for doing that, but if the boiler goes off, I don't want to be waiting for a week.

I was dissatisfied with Jones Heating and Cooling, Plumbing and Electric. We had problems with the sump pump they installed. They sump pump burnt out under warranty and the back up system did not work with all the rain we had. They said they were not responsible for the unusual weather so they would not cover the warranty. Our basement flooded. They offered to install another system for $2,000.00 more. I do not recommend them to anyone. They are more interested in marketing than the work they do.

I paid $289 for the prepaid yearly boiler service. They are part of a larger local company that is very reliable. They are also available 24 hours for emergency service and that is how I found them about a year ago. The technician is friendly. I would continue to use them in the future.
