I couldn't have asked for a better experience in working with Arnoldo's Tree Service. I turned to Angie's list when the tree service that we'd used in the past gave me an estimate, but it was going on a month and I couldn't get them on the phone to come do the work. Arnoldo's had great reviews and they were very close to home, so I decided to give them try. I called on a Thursday, and Arnoldo came to my house the very next morning and gave us an estimate that was within $100 of our previous one. He was scheduled to do the work on Monday, but unfortunately it rained. Tuesday morning at 8:00, he showed up and apologized for not being there on Monday! There was no need to apologize - I never expected him to do this dangerous work in the rain, but still he was so courteous and professional. The work itself was done exactly as discussed and it wasn't a simple job as none of his machines could fit into our backyard. I would highly recommend Arnoldo's Tree Service if you need this type of work done.

Amazing work. Took down huge tree and stump and trimmed trees coming into my yard. Excellent price, great workers. Will hire again this week for my next job. Keep up the great work, would only use them from now on. Very very honest.

Shopped around to pruned 2 large branches that were threatening to fall on our home, Arnoldo's was the best price and the service was great, well staffed, came on time, cleaned up well, would definitely hire again.

called 3 times first time left a message never returned my call. second time made an appt. never showed never called. 3rd time made an appt never called never showed. now I don't know how one stays in business if you don't show to appointments but never the less I would stay away from this place very un professional.

Awesome team! They could not have been more patient with explaining the process, prompt with delivering the service, and professional. They were respectful to our neighbors when they came with their huge trucks to take care of our large tree and deal with other smaller trees in our yard. Overall, A+ experience! We will definitely use them again and again in the future!

Great service! Professional, highly skilled, helpful, and timely. Fairly priced. My siblings and I hired Arnoldo’s Tree Service to remove a huge, dying oak tree on our deceased mother’s property. They also ground the stump. And, they did a fine job of cleaning up! The tree removal staff is friendly, and they work with amazing speed, grace, and coordination. The tree was about 70 feet tall, with a 4-foot diameter trunk, and the crown spanned about 75 feet with many thick, heavy branches hanging dangerously over the house and the neighbor’s house. Arnoldo himself showed up early in the morning the day after we called him and gave us an estimate. His daughters in the office were also helpful. Arnoldo’s liability and workers compensation insurances are appropriate for tree removal. We got estimates for this job from five other reputable tree services. We chose Arnoldo’s. We would hire Arnoldo’s Tree Service again, without reservation.

He came that day and had it done in a couple of hours. Did a great job. I would use him again in a heart beat.

Arnoldo and Melky gave me a great price. Melky and his crew arrived on time and ready to work. And work they did. The two enormous mulberry trees were surgically removed.

Showed up for an estimate and we agreed on price. I called to schedule the appointment and one was made. I took off of work so they can perform the job. They showed up a little after 5pm told me to talk to the boss because they have no time to do the job because they stop working by 5pm. . They did not perform the job I wasted a day and my time. When they called back to schedule another estimate, they did not show again. Why keep calling to schedule things when you can not perform the job. I am very disappointed and sad that I have to leave this review but I have to stay true to my fellow Angie's list members.

Owner evaluated the project in advance and advised what t expect and what they would do. On the day of the project, the work went very smoothly. Seven men and equipment arrived on time. They cut tree to the ground, as previously discussed. Removed all debris and cleaned yard. They also cleaned our neighbor's yard. Workers protected utility lines from damage.

Provider failed to show up for scheduled appointment to provide estimate for services.

Arnoldo's service was professional and punctual. It was a great experience dealing with them including their phone reception and the team who arrived on the day of the job. One of the team members regularly updated me throughout the tree cutting process and also taught me about the tree I was getting removed. I had requested that some of the tree trunk be cut into stool sizes for me to use in my backyard. The team accommodated this request with eases and worked with me to get the stool sizes i wanted. The team also pointed out a potential issue I may have with another tree in my backyard in the future and told me how to cost effectively re-mediate the issue. I appreciated the wealth of knowledge Arnoldo's team had and how friendly and professional they were. I would use Arnoldo's Tree Service again in a heartbeat.

Had an appointment to get an estimate to prune a tree. Appointment was set for 3-4pm and was confirmed the day before. He never called or showed up to give us the estimate. I called the office twice to try and find out if he was coming--no one answered and I did not get a call back.

I have, arguably, the largest tree in all of Bayside. It has to be over 100 years old and is a huge sycamore which covers 4 property lots. It is so huge and so shady that, until recently, I could not grow grass in my backyard. It towered over and threatened my slate roof so I had to have it get a haircut. Arnoldo's professional crew came in with some very serious equipment and went to town. The operation went flawlessly and they cleaned up superbly. The only downgrade I gave them was that they did not show up when we scheduled, but this would certainly not prevent me from engaging this service in the future.

Handled trimming, chopping and stump removal quickly and efficiently.

Although Arnoldo did not come at the appointed time, when we called the office we were given a later time when he and the workers did show up. They worked very professionally and quickly and were a good team. One guy was up in the cherry picker with the saw and the other guys are on the ground taking the limbs and putting them into the machine that turned the wood and leaves and to compost. They were very responsive to which branches we wanted left alone and how much we wanted trimmed. They cleaned up efficiently and the whole job was done in about an hour.

In my front yard, there was an 100-year old+ cherry tree. It was close to 30 feet tall with a base of a little over 3 feet. On Wednesday, July 15 at 2:00 AM we heard a loud crack and pop from outside. When my family and I went to investigate the tree had partially toppled over, broken at it's base. It's branches were blocking our driveway, pulling down on cables belonging to Verizon and Optimum, and the top of the tree was resting on our neighbors house. It was leaning at a 45 degree angle. Needless to say I needed someone right away. If it would have fallen it would have ripped the wires apart, possibly ripped the surrounding poles from the ground and it would smash the fencing between my house and my neighbor's house. After many phone calls with the city and going through different contractors I finally called Arnaldo's later that day at 5:00 PM but it was late and I didn't expect service that day, I left a message though. The next day, Thursday, July 16, I called Arnaldo's office at around 8:20 and left another message. I was also calling other contractors in the area shopping for the best deals (high reviews + low price), the highest someone wanted to charge me was $4500!!! Insane! I called Arnaldo's a third time around 9 O'clock and finally got through, the secretary picked up and apologized for not getting my messages. She was very sweet and took down all of my information. Not getting through immediately didn't bother me though, I was just happy to get through; other reviews already mentioned calling more than once so I was prepared. After explaining my situation to her she called her boss and then called me back. She told me Arnaldo would be at my house between 1 and 2 PM to give me a quote. Arnaldo arrived at 1:45 and after a couple of minutes of talking with me gave me a quote of $1800 + tax with a $200.00 deposit to start; Incredible! He was very professional, listened to all of my concerns, and explained to me what he was going to do. The closest quote I had from a competitor was $2300 so he nailed it! I wrote him a check for the deposit and he told me his men would be at my house tomorrow between 9 and 9:30 AM the latest. The next day on July 17, Friday, his men arrived with their trucks earlier than expected at 8:30 AM. They immediately went to work like surgeons, making sure they cut the tree correctly so that it wouldn't fall over. They used pieces of tree trunk that they just cut to build a support under the tree to reinforce it from falling. I admit I was a little scared because I didn't see them use support cables as other contractors said they would but I can't argue with the results plus all of the men listened to my concerns and assured me they wouldn't let it topple over. They used a truck with one of those long arms to move around the tree cutting branch by branch, lessening the weight, all the while supporting the base to insure that it wouldn't fall. By 10:15 they were completely done, including the clean up of all the wood chips. AMAZING! I even had enough time to pull a half day at work to make up some of the hours I lost. These guys were great, fair pricing, super professional, cleaned up well, what more can you ask for? I will definitely recommend and use them again in the future. I have to remove the trunk eventually which I left since I didn't want to up the cost at this time. Thank you Arnaldo and crew! :)
