I had my roof replaced by Bertoglio Home Improvement. The job was done quickly and professionally. Everything was cleaned up after the job.

Happy with the work started but the contractor has yet finished the work that needs to be completed. Work has been paid in full.

Please stay away from these guys. Horrible, horrible work. They go to a famous home appliance stores parking lot, pickup day laborers and put them on the job. They will try to screw you any which way they can!

When I was looking for someone to replace my roof from slates to shingles, one of my friends recommended to go to homeadvisor.com and that was how I met Abraham Cordova of Bertoglio Home Improvement, Inc.. I am so pleased with their quality of work and would highly recommend them. I found Abraham very honest, easy to deal with and knows exactly what he is talking about. He has a very good crew - polite and hard working.

BHI was very easy to deal with and before even being hired, offered up plenty of advice and pointers with no expectations. I dealt with Abe who answered every question I had through out the process. I felt comfortable with him overseeing the whole thing and the results came out great and it feels good living under a new roof.

They said they would finish the job in one day and they did. They said they would leave a clean work environment after the job was done, and when the job finished they lived up to their word. They did a wonderful job.

The job was extremely overpriced, I should not have hired them but I wanted to get the job done. They replaced a P trap from my bathtub drain which had frozen and cracked. The job took less than 30 minutes and the price was $900.00.

I dealt with Mike Ortiz from Bertoglio. Mike did a great job orchestrated the whole project. He was detailed and professional. I had my roof and siding done as well as replacing a bow window. The crew was professional and punctual. Mike is a man of his word which is hard to come by in todays world. An example of this was after the job was done and paid for, I found a couple of things that needed to be fixed. When I called him he promised his crew would come back and fix it. To his word they were back in less than a week to do so. I couldnâ t be happier with everything. Thank you again.

My asphalt roof was nearing its life span so I went on HomeAdvisor to get some estimates. I called several contractors from your site as well as some that had been recommended by friends. The feedback I received was that my roof still had some life, but I got estimates for the spring. Unfortunately, right before Thanksgiving I awoke to find my bedroom ceiling covered with water stains. I called Mike from Bertoglio as he seemed sincere and the reviews on your site were positive. He was also willing to put a tarp over the trouble area and do a complete roof replacement in the next few days. He and William were very reassuring which was very much appreciated. The job was done in one day and my roof looks good.There was a lot of debris and the tarp that was supposed to protect my siding, gutters, etc., came off less than halfway through the job causing some issues. The GAF shingles are supposed to last 30 years so I hope I will have to do this again. I wrote this review so that others will be more informed than I was when deciding on a contractor. Firstly, if you are promised GAF Deck-Armor make sure it is blue and black not white. The white and black is Tiger Paw it is not as thick. It should be stapled on. If you have questions about any product you can go online or call the manufacturer or supplier. Make sure you are getting an ice and water shield as well as new flashing. Flashing can be made of lead, aluminum,or copper which is more expensive but stronger. I also recommend asking about the sealants used around skylights ,chimneys ,vents and flashing. There are waterproof caulking that is superior to tar.Most roofers will replace several sheets of plywood free of charge if your wood decking is compromised. The only way to know, if you can not get up on your roof, is to ask the contractor to take pictures with a phone of the deck after everything is removed. This will give piece of mind after the job is completed. A warranty is great to have but it is also something you never want to use. Good Luck!

Made the appt. with Mike. He was on time. Explained what they would do and how they would do it. Agreed to terms on Friday. On Saturday Mike returned with workers and they installed the flat roof and were finished by the end of day. Cleaned up & removed debris from roof. Very easy and pleasant to work with.

Had a lot of cleaning up to the next day they should have sent someone around to clean up

They were very punctual, responsive to my requests, easy to deal with, worked quickly, did not waste time having to run to get supplies and made the experience pleasant.

It was raining in my living room... they came within a day... ripped off the old roof put on a new one...8 hours done! Cleaned around the house house and blew clean the gutters...👍🏼

Bertoglio did a good job on my new roof and paneling. I gave them a 4 1/2 star only because I did have one complaint but they did come and fix it asap so I will give them 5stars...yes I would hire them again.
