Steve was very professional and kind. He helped me and my husband figure out what was wrong with our dryer and even found some additional issues that he was able to fix. I would recommend him again and again. He did great work and was very reasonably priced

Waste of 6 days. Came on a Friday to disassemble the dryer. Diagnosed faulty control board. Said he would return Tuesday with new part. Came Thursday, reassembled without new part. Said he could not fix it. Told me to call manufacturer (GE) for service. He returned $75 cash paid at first visit.

I recently called Steve’s Appliance Repair to look at 3 separate appliance issues in my home: My fridge, oven and stackable W/D. What impressed me most was his honesty and restraint. Rather than jumping into unnecessary repairs, he carefully inspected each appliance, explained what he was seeing, made some adjustments, and reassured me that no major fixes were needed. I contacted Steve’s appliance repair to troubleshoot a dishwasher in my home. The response time was very rapid and we scheduled a visit for the following day. Steve was very honest, direct and straightforward. His assessment was that it would be unwise to repair the machine based on the cost - versus purchasing a new machine. I’m sure Steve could’ve profited handsomely from the repair but he did the right thing. His fee for the house call was very modest and would have been applied to any repair cost if a repair was appropriate. I give Steve the highest recommendation based on his honesty, reliability, and fairness.

My dryer was making very loud noises and was shaking the whole house. Steve came and repaired it and did an excellent job. Simply put, Steve deserves every one of his 5 star reviews, he's honest, on time, neat, and one of the few appliance guy's who tells you exactly like it is. Steve came within hours of being called, despite him initially telling me he was all booked up that day. He arrived when he said, took about 10 mins to diagnose the problem, fetched the part from his car, and hey presto the compressor started back working. I hadn't called Steve for about 5 years and he was as pleasant and responsive as ever. I cannot recommend him enough. the service was $95 and the cost for the parts was $130. He indicated if the fridge failed in the next 24 hours, he would refund the money for the part.

Steve is a man of great honesty and integrity. Called and described the issues and instead of taking the job and charging fees, Steve walked me through some easy do it yourself steps that enabled me to handle things and save the service call $s. Would call him again for any repairs in the future.

Due to Covid pandemic Steve was unable to come out to my house. But this man who I do not know asked me what was wrong and after answering a few questions he basically told me what the problem most likely was. Something that someone else probably would have charged my $150.00 for if they came to my house.

I called Steve because of the many A ratings. Called twice last Monday, September 15th, left a voicemail but no response. Called once more on Tuesday, September 16th, again left a voicemail but didn't receive any response. I called GE service and they came as I requested. I know that I probably overpaid GE, however the service was excellent and he was able to repair the fridge right away. I don't understand the hundreds of A ratings for Steve but I will never be a customer nor will I recommend him.

Steve came right away to fix our refrigerator on a Sunday morning. His price was reasonable and he was very professional. We highly recommend his services and will use him again in the future.

Called late afternoon on Friday and he immediately returned call. Steve came the the next morning to check dryer and determine what needed to be done and the parts required. He was back on Monday morning with the parts and repaired my dryer. Working great now. Found him to be very professional and he definitely did a thorough job. He even went out of his way to double check the outside vent to make sure it was working properly after the repairs. Would not hesitate to call him for any future appliance repairs.
