Oh, wow! I finally found a shop to bring my car where they DON'T try to rip you off, DO explain what they're doing and why, DON'T make you feel like a moron and DO connect with you as a human being, not a dollar sign!
I made an appointment yesterday for first thing in the morning to wait for an inspection and oil change. When I got there, they had me in the computer, knew my name and were ready for me.
The battery on my remote key apparently died before I'd walked into the place, so they couldnt start the car to move it into the shop. They replaced the key without charging me for it - even though they'd run out of that particular battery and had to walk across the street to get one for me. THAT's the way to treat a first time customer!!
I waited in the modest - but very comfortable - waiting area in the open storefront and was able to get some work done. I was offered coffee. I listened to interactions between Joe, Jon, other staff and customers. I chatted a little bit with Joe and Jon. Everyone waspleasant and professional.
After looking the car over, Jon reviewed with me what they'd be doing and gave me some recommendations regarding preventative maintenance they could do on the car - without doing a hard sell. He ended up doing the inspection, oil change, air filter change, tire pressure check and rotation, topped off fluids. They took the extra time to get that pesky indicator light to go off (it had been bothering me for months) and thankfully they were successful!!! I left with a list of recommendations for future work, (by the way, the recommendations were same things that the Toyota Website recommends be inspected and completed if needed, not random nonsense.)
I will, without a doubt, use them again, and recommend them to people I know.

They are good. They are always helpful. Their pricing are not too bad, average.

I haven't had any kind of big work done there, but they have done oil change, brake work and other similar things. Everything about them is good except for their price which is a bit more. I would use their services in the future as well.

My immediate experience with Firestone was very disappointing. Here I had sent my wife's car in for a check-up and they told me all sorts of things needed to be done. I am a smart shopper so I took it elsewhere for a second opinion to someone I really trust and who is an expert in this field. They told me the car was just fine and needed none of that work at all. I will not be going back to Firestone again. I was greatly disappointed in them.

The service is great. If they ever find that there is something wrong with the car like it needs some parts replaced or repaired they will call you right away to ask your permission. Then after thoroughly discussing the problem with you and getting your input that put all there attention on fixing it. They seek perfection whenever working on my car and if there is ever a problem with a repair they take it back right away to fix it.
