Paul Lonergan and another man I did not get the name of showed up on time. Paul stated everything clearly and explained things as the work progressed. The entire experience was great, they were extremely professional and also polite and helpful at the same time. It's nice to have such a pleasant honest experience. Prior to having b & p come do the work, over the years I have heard numerous individuals praise this company and now I too am going to praise them and definitely recommend them, highly recommend them.

I received a call each morning to tell me when the crew would arrive. The crew showed up on time each day, They were professional, courteous and did an outstanding job taking down and rebuilding our chimney. Each day they swept, hosed and cleaned up before they left. I highly recommend this company.

Everything went smooth and flawless. Two guys that came to the job site did what they came to do on time, were professional, polite and cleaned up after themselves. The estimator was little rough around the edges but did not push me to buy services that I did not want or need, which I liked. He was punctual, which is important to me, and gave the estimate on the spot, which I liked even more. Four different office staff that I spoke to in four different occasions were all decent to excellent, especially the young gentleman who was actually taking notes on my requests, which NEVER happens in the business of construction. Overall, I would use their service again in a heartbeat. Thanks for making this experience hassle-free.

"THE JOB WAS LOCATED IN BROOKLYN,NY NOT MANHATTAN. WE INSTALLED A METALBESTOS BVENT ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE HOME BECAUSE THE NEW BOILER AND HWH WERE TOO LARGE TO VENT INTO THE EXISTING CHIMNEY. IT COULD NOT HANDLE THE BTU'S FROM THE TWO UNITS. THE ONLY SOLUTION WAS TO INSTALL ON THE EXTERIOR OF HOME TO ALLOW FOR PROPER VENTILATION OF THE NEW BOILER AND HWH. THE COST OF THE MATERIALS ARE EXPENSIVE AND IT IS A LABOR INTENSIVE JOB. IM SORRY YOU FEEL THE WORK WAS TOO EXPENSIVE AND TOOK TOO LONG, BUT HAVE YOU HAD ANY PROBLEMS SINCE THE WORK WAS COMPLETED?? IF YES, WE WOULD BE HAPPY TO COME BY AND CHECK OUT THE SYSTEM. IF THE WORK WAS DONE PROPERLY AND YOU WOULD FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE IF WE SENT THE OWNER BY, SO YOU CAN DISCUSS THE MATTER DIRECTLY TO HIM, I WOULD BE HAPPY TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOU ASAP. They arrived between the hours that were given to me. I paid $40 for the chimney sweep which they did a good clean job. They advised me on how often I should get a sweep and told me that I didn't need a liner because my chimney was in good shape. I've had others try to sell me a liner but I have always refused since I know my chimney didn't need one. This showed me right away that I was dealing with an honest man. 
I also paid $140 for a chimney cap which for some reason mine was missing. They advised me to get one installed which I agreed to do. They did a great job! I will continue to use their service for any future needs.

This is the BEST Company to use!  I had them install the new metal liners a few years back and chimney caps.  I have B&P clean my chimney's every year.  Don't mess with chimney's get them cleaned out every year in early fall.  You run a system or fireplace with a dirty or clogged chimney you will have a ton of problems.  Anyway, B&P team is always friendly and informative.  Paul and Bobby come within the time-frame noted they are clean and lay down drop clothes and do a great job!  My compliments to this company and I am confident you will be satisfied too!

Excellent experience all around. The owner paul came for the initial site visit. He was a pro and an honest guy. He steered me away from unneeded work and pointed out no sales tax needed per law. Other companies i checked out were not as honest. This is what won me over vs another qualified competitor. Good price also which is what put b&p in the lead initially He also showed up on the day of the job to ensure all was going well and to make sure i understood what was happening. One thing i wonder after the fact is quality of the liner, they used 316L s/s and a heavy gauge one, which is very good from what I've read. I read 316 Ti is better though. Their competitor also was going to use the 316L type though also so I suppose what i got is at least standard for the job. Overall very happy, and I'd recommend b&p.

I was very happy with the job they did for me. They inspected the chimney, gave me a written estimate and agreed on date to do the work. They came with 3 men on the day of appointment, took down the old chimney from the roof line and built a new brick one with cap. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything when the work was completed. Very professional and polite. Great overall experience.
