Bathroom countertop was miscut. My plumber tried to correct the screwup. More than three hours later he gave up cost $345. RAL PROVIDED A NEW PROPERLY CUT STONE TOP. MY PLUMBER RETURNED AND MADE THE EXCHANGE. COST $180. I asked RALto reimburse me some part of the costt of installation sine it was their fault. They refused.
Description of Work: supplied and cut stone countertop.

The person that I spoke to in the showroom was really knowledgeable. We spent a lot of time looking at different hinges whether its Cole or American Standard. The guys at the back which usually their service staff are willing to answer my technical question. Both the front showroom and parts desks are fantastic. Laurie spent several hours with me just to have my bathroom set. She's very responsive.
Description of Work: I bought my plumbing supplies at RAL Supply.

There were several issues in getting products I wanted or getting the right ones. 1. One first delivery of items, I received wrong trip lever. Got Roman (for deep tub) instead of standard. Had to run down to get correct item. 2. I asked for a recessed medicine cabinet. A wall mount came in. It was 3-4 week lead time on order. The medicine cabinet was ordered incorrectly, but had to wait over 3 weeks for correct one to come in. This was 2 weeks after the bathroom was to be completed. 3. I ordered a American Standard Champion 4 toilet. For some reason, they could not not get the bowl in a timely manner. The bowl finally came in around the same time as the medicine chest. However, the bowl was defective, had a glazing defect. RAL said they could not get another bowl easily and suggested a different manufacturer. I googled the part number and there was not a shortage in Dutchess County. I took the bowl and tank back and asked for a refund and got the bowl and tank elsewhere. 4. Shortly after the toilet bowl came in I received an invoice charging me for it. It was paid for previously. I asked why I got the invoice and was told to discard it. 5. The toilet color was linen (biscuit). I got a white seat. Thinking about it, Bemis does not make Linen colors they do Biscuit. The guy pulling the parts evidently (my guess here) said no linen must mean white. Either didn't read the box that said white or didn't care enough to ask what was really needed. 6. Two weeks after returning the toilet, I still hadn't received my refund. I called and they said the toilet was still there and I would get the refund when it made it back to a warehouse in NJ. I didn't understand that. So I complained. I am a retail customer and my monies should not be held captive because of their vendors. I got a call back later that day saying they would refund the amount to my credit card. They needed some information off the card since it was a new issue (info changed since first used). That was 9 days ago. I still haven't seen the refund. I used these guys because I wanted to have a person to talk to if there was an issue. Not like a Lowe's or HD. Laurie was my sales person. She is knowledgeable and very professional. She addressed my concerns, but I am not satisfied with the length of time to fix things and as I have said, still don't have my refund. I felt Laurie tried, but I am not satisfied with the RAL company
Description of Work: I hired a contractor to remodel the master bathroom. I selected and purchased all the supplies needed for the job. I used RAL in Fishkill to purchase the major supplies. The items purchased were * Americast Tub * Trip Lever * Bertch vanity and recessed medicine cabinet * Quartz vanity top * Plumbing fixtures for shower and sink
