Fishkill Pools was recommended by our caretaker, a local born-and-bred fellow we trust completely. We did get estimates from other pool companies, and a few were slightly lower, but we did not feel comfortable with them. Greg Eraca, the owner of Fishkill Pools, never tried a hard sell with us -- he asked what we wanted and told us the price. Period. I am so glad we went with Greg -- he is honest, decent, and really knows what he's doing. When he had to bring in other vendors, e..g., gas people (for heating the pool), fence people, etc., he brought in skilled, competent, reliable (local) people. Everyone associated with the pool did an excellent job. I am happy to say we have the most gorgeous pool (and pergola) I could have imagined. And I was not an easy client; I designed it down to the inch, showed Greg numerous photos, took weeks to make even the smallest decisions, etc. Greg was patient and even humorous throughout the process. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Fishkill Pools.

Good experience from the get-go...called this company on Wednesday, spoke with very pleasant/knowledgeable person, got an appointment for Friday, two days later.
Had an estimate/consultation with the owner, Gregg, at Fishkill Pools for the installation of an above ground pool. Showed up 5 minutes early, estimate in hand, and walked us thru the whole process...soup to nuts....including excavation (which we need a lot of) and all local/municipal requirements. Estimate for the pool we want is very reasonable and includes everything we need plus installation.
Tho we are not installing until next spring, we decided to go with this company for four major reasons:
1-they install their own pools, and are responsible for it. (They offer a year of service included in package price.) We have heard so many horror stories from companies who use subcontractors with no accountability.
2- they only install one pool at a time and owner is present for whole job.
3- they carry the pool we want.
4- they have been in business (with same phone #!) for 50 years...the oldest pool company in our county...and have a solid reputation around town.
Overall pleased with the whole vibe of this place/owner/experience. Gregg had a layed back, no nonsense approach to the whole process making the upcoming install seem way less daunting than I thought it would be. looking forward to spring!
