Everything went great. The owners showed up to see how things were going and even gave a hand gratis!
A couple of hard working young guy's making a name for themselves in the moving business!

Steve and Team came 7am in the morning on time, they start work right away. They wrapped up all glass and important items very carefully, smoothly move out and move in without damage anything around the house, and did nice clean up after the work is done on each location. The team members are very professional, nice and easy to deal with. I'm very happy with their service and definitely will refer to others.

I first emailed Blue Collar a question and Steve got back to me almost immediately with his contact number. I then called Blue Collar to set up an estimate for moving belongings and furniture to a storage facility. Steve came on time and was very easy to work with. I explained that things were moving to a storage facility and he recommended one. He then went over everything I had to move and said a 5x15 room would be sufficient. He gave me his written estimate and dates he'd be available. I got other estimates but felt most comfortable with Steve.
I called Steve back, confirmed on a date/time. The team arrived as planned and began working on my move. They wrapped everything! everything went as planned and the move was seamless without any issues. When done, we went our separate ways and it wasn't until I got home that a box that was not supposed to be put in storage was missing. I called, Rob answered said he'd get back to me in a couple of minutes. The guys agreed to meet me at the facility the next morning to get the box out of storage for me. They were true professionals and I told them if they got their interstate license on time, I would use them for my move from LI to NJ.

This Company was great. Steve, the owner and the two movers- Ricardo and JJ were prompt,professional and did more than I expected. Even hung a mirror for me. They were all extremely pleasant and I will be using them again.
They moved bedroom furniture that was close to 100 years old to another apartment. They even fixed the legs of one of the pieces that was loose without me even asking. Not a scratch to the furniture and went very smoothly

Blue Collar Movers were amazing to work with! You hear so many nightmares about moving companies, but we had nothing but a great experience. Steve was extremely professional and gave us a great competitive price to move from one home to another. His crew showed up on time and they took great care with all of our furniture and things. Steve and his crew were great! They showed up right on time (even a little early) and had everything packed up ready to be put in the truck within an hour. They helped bring up an extra fridge and exercise equipment from the basement. Everything was done quickly and professionally, without damaging anything. We would recommend them to anyone and would use them again in the future.

The grand summary is that this company provides a friendly and fantastic service. I contacted them and Rob immediately got back to me and made himself available to see the place and provide an estimate. From the first contact, it was already an immediate like. He was fast, punctual, friendly, polite and cared about the apartment floors.
He provided an estimate, we scheduled a date ... I had of course plenty of questions (what to do with this, can I leave cloth in drawers, etc ...) and Rob answered immediately via text. We were cracking jokes from time to time and this made me feel very comfortable. Punctuality is a plus for me (actually, a must) and there were no surprises or wait time here - a little text before coming was confirming the arrival as a bonus.Rob appeared as expected and right on time and came to deliver my set of free boxes.
On the scheduled date, we of course had one of the many snow storm of winter 2014-2015. We texted back and forth with Rob and moved the schedule by one hour to make sure the roads are cleaned by then (we rescheduled for 10 AM instead of 9h30). Him and his team came on time then, the whole crew started to get to work immediately and the packing and moving of boxes took about 2 hours. They covered the floor with some rubber strip, wrapped my furnitures in blankets, dismounted bed and table in no time and even handled my Ikea desk (and reconstructed it all in the same state). At the destination, they also put the protective floor covers (I had the wood floor remade) and they had to climb stairs to move things in but handled this really well. The unpacking about 3 and we were done by 3 PM. All through, the crew was friendly like you would not believe. I am relatively inquisitive and, as they worked, we exchanged stories and jokes. The whole experience (I expected would be stressful) was a breath and the time passed by barely noticeable. By the end of the moving, I knew something of nearly each of the guys life and it felt like friends were helping me move rather than an obscure bunch of people. It was a good feeling - the move took less time than expected. Rob and crew were simply awesome.
As I did not expect a moving could be made to look that easy and comfortable, I would highly recommend those guys. You simply cannot go wrong so, don't settle for anything else.

When I contacted Blue Collar, Rob quickly made arrangements to come to our house to perform a walk-through and provide a price quote. He was patient with all our questions and provided suggestions to make the move go smoothly.
The closing date ended up being a couple weeks later than originally planned, but they will still willing to work with us. Snow was forecasted for the day we were scheduled to move, so Rob was quick to contact me and offered to change the move to the day until the day after the snow, which turned out to be much better for everyone.
The day of the move, Rob and his team showed up on time, they were all in uniform, friendly and professional. They put protective covering on my floor, wrapped all my furniture with blankets, dismantled my china cabinet and reassembled it at the new house. They lent me clothing rack boxes and were willing to do as little or as much as you wanted them to.
They completed the job in less time than originally estimated, which cost us less than quoted. I would definitely recommend them for all moving services and would use them again if needed in the future.

63 I was very happy with the services provided by Blue Collar moving company. They showed up before the appointment at the storage facility and they began on time. They were fast, efficient and kept me in the loop on any potential problems. All of the men were friendly and professional. When they moved my belongings to my new apartment they stacked everything neatly and one of the workers, JJ put my bed together for me and even showed me what to do if I had any future problems with the frame. They were prepared and were able to complete the job under the estimate that I was given. I would definitely recommend them for moving services and I will use them again if I need to move sometime in the future. I also found their prices to be very reasonable for the excellent service that I was given. They made my move very pleasant despite some problems that I had with the storage facility that had my belongings.

The service was excellent. Blue Collar arrived exactly on time. The movers arrived in uniforms with company logo. The furniture was carefully wrapped in protective blankets. They even took the time to dismantle one piece for easy transportation and put it back together. One of the pieces was an expensive buffet with a few pieces of glass. All was handled with care.
Overall, I was very pleased with the service and the price was exactly as quoted. I would certainly recommend Blue Collar, LLC and hire them in the future if I need a moving company.

They arrived on time and completed the job in less time than quoted, which resulted in a savings for us, but at the same time they didn't rush. They carefully and properly wrapped and prepped everything for the move. Within an hour and a half, our apartment was packed up and on the truck. Upon arrival to our new home, they carefully unpacked the truck and moved all the boxes and furniture to where we wanted them to go and patiently worked with us while we were making final decisions. Everything went smoothly and everything was in the same shape they left our apartment in. The team and owner were very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering moving services.

Wrapped all our things very patiently. We were short of few boxes. They let us borrow boxes. Moving to new place I was not sure where few pieces of furniture would go. They were patient till I decided where I want things to be placed. Very professional team who listened to what their customers want.

From the very first contact by phone Blue Collar LLC was extremely professional, courteous and very helpful. They arrived at our house in uniform, and exactly on time. They immediately asked if our pets were secured, and that impressed us because we are always very concerned that our indoor cats will get out. They treated our furniture with outstanding concern, wrapping each and every piece very carefully. They worked hard not to scratch any of our walls and even removed pictures from the walls that could have been damaged, which we appreciated. All of this attention to detail showed how much respect they had for our house. We're very happy to recommend them and we'll refer them to our family and friends for all their moving needs!! What else can we say but they are EXCEPTIONAL movers!!!

They showed up in the timeframe they provided. Were very professional, dressed appropriately so i knew they were who they said they were. They handled the situation perfectly and completed the move within the time they said they would. There were really no issues at all. They were super careful not to damage any furniture or the walls. If you need someone to move your stuff locally on long island i would highly recommend them.

Steve and his team were great. They were early and moved quickly which is nice when you are paying hourly. Steve paid very close attention to protect items I didn't even think about protecting.
The price was exactly what was negotiated and no pressure for add ons. My wife and I felt we were in good hands the whole time.
I normally do moves on my own, but I won't hesitate to call them again or recommend them to friends and family.

One again Rob and staff did a wonderful job. They moved my whole house into storage in January and moved the furniture out of storage to the new house on April 19th. Service is exceptional! Staff is pleasant and professional. I would refer them to anybody and would only use them for any moves. Thank You for a job well done again!

Rob is a professional in every aspect of the word. He (owner) truly puts the customer first and went above and beyond. He and Matt were a pleasure to deal with and have a great work ethic. You don't see that much anymore. I highly recommend them and though they did not transport anything (all moving was done within my home) I would expect them to be as competent and respectful of my home and my furniture had it been a distance move. The estimate was accurate and price very fair. ( I did my homework.) They protected my furniture and floors. Their appearance was professional and they completed the job in the time estimated.
