Ken took AMAZING care of me, fixing my Bissell carpet cleaner in just 4 days because I needed it right away in order for my step daughter to clean her carpets before my granddaughter's birthday party.
He gave me a great price, and also excellent advice on how to keep it clean.
The guy is fantastic! I literally insisted that he accept my tip because I felt that the value of his work was higher than what he charged.
I have been going to this place for the past 15 years and have always gotten great service on repairs to vacuums, carpet cleaners and sewing machines.

They were very professional and knowledgeable.  They performed the necessary repair and a tune-up, making the machine almost as good as new (certainly an improvement over what it had been) and even offered to replace a part with one that had been gently used, helping with the cost of the repair.  The repairs were completed on the same day they received the vacuum.

I helped my mother take her sewing machine to Matthews because the bobbin wouldn't stay in. They found the problem immediately, and right there on the counter he fixed it without charge. This may not happen to everyone, but they know I am a regular customer.

I love my Simplicity vacuum cleaner. It has everything I need: Auto adjustment to bare floors to carpet, An extra long cord, and extra long tube for attachments, an easy-to-reach on/off switch. It is light-weight for me, and is also easier to pull back and forth without actually being power driven.
