I called on Friday 4/24/2015 make an appointment for the plumbing service. The girls on the phone done her job, took my info, the nature of the service that I seek and give me an rough idea how the cost going to be per hour.
I told her job scope is to replace existing and leaking kitchen faucet with the faucet that my wife brought, and Install a under the counter reverse osmosis water filtration system that my wife also brought. She repeat and I assume she also wrote exactly what she said. replace existing faucet with customer's own faucet and install customer's own water filtration system.
She then proceed to set the schedule for me, She told me the next available time slot is the following wed. between 8:30am and 12:30pm. The service guy will call before he is on his way, if I miss the call he might goto his next job. fairly standard stuff for service type provider. I agree and comes wed 4/29/2015.
On the day of appointment, I call their office around 9AM because I didn't get any phone call. Again the girl on the phone done her job, She explain they might book multiple job in the 4 hr windows in case the customer cancel or not able to uphold their appointments. that why there is a 4hr per appointment slot. She then promise me that she will call me back after she contact the service guy and she did after about 5 min to assure me that service guy is coming.
So I wait and wait... 12:20pm ... the guy show up 10 min before the promised appointment slot expires. I wasn't too happy but I give him credit to "be with in the 4 hr time slot" ... technically he is on time.
so I show him the faucet and the sink to be install in... he said ok no problem. I then bring out the reverse osmosis system. For your info, under my sink there is a garbage disposer and the reverse osmosis system need large amount of space for the filter and reserve tank.
The first thing comes out of his mouth is.. "oh I don't think that will fit" ... I was like really? even with the garbage disposer there are plenty of room under my sink.
ok lets try take out the largest item of the osmosis system and see if it fits. Sure enough, PLENTY OF SPACE. I can even put all the filters in with the tank and its not even taking up half of the available space under my sink.
He then process to look at the installation menu, "oh this is a complicate system, I need another guy to help me"... er.. ok... IF ITS EASY I WONT CALL FOR A PROFESSIONAL, so I told him, fine call your guy to help you. "oh, not today, we need to come back another day". fine, your guys are busy, when will that be? tomorrow? "oh might have to be next week"
By now I am start to getting really annoyed. FIRST of all you guys wasted 4 hours of my life waiting for you, now you giving me excuses? I told him, you are here can you at least try to do this? He went on and on how its a complicated job and it will take too long if he do it by himself and he have another appointment.
REALLY? how you able keep appointment or not, its your problem, I hire you for a job and this is how you blow me off? He then promise to talk to the boss and setup another appointment, ask me to allow him to take the installation menu to study and promise to bring it back....
FINE... one last chance for you, can you please just install the faucet and come back next time to install the filter system, "oh I don't want to disconnect anything now... you know, lets do this all together when we come back"
NOW ITS 5/1/2015... 2:30PM... WAY OVER 48 HOURS AND NOT A SINGLE CALL from anyone... I think I earn the right to give them the lowest review possible. h***... if there is a Z I will give them a Z. even though the service isn't performed nor there are any money transaction. I don't feel they treat me right as a customer and total waste of my time ( on top of that , I have to take a day off from work )
