Huffman Koos does not honor their extended warranty. Have had a broken couch for 1.5 years. Scott Blanchet from corporate tells me he will handle everything- I answer to the ceo. Don’t worry. Now he refuses to call back. My next step is to complain to Nassau county consumer affairs. Possibly small claims court. I’ve told corporate of my plan and they don’t care. No less than 40-50 calls. If you have a complaint contact Scott Blanchet since he’s the one in charge at corporate. However, you’ll probably not get your call returned like me. Never buy from this company!!

Sales person knew nothing about the furniture. We decided to buy after doing our own research and shopping around. The curio cabinet was damaged beyond belief upon delivery. We declined the delivery and immediately called store. Someone was supposed to get back to us in 3 days. A week went by so we called back. Was put off again a couple of days. Finally in 2nd week we found out delivery could be in another 5 weeks! Unacceptable! We asked for a refund, and ended up waiting another 2weeks of back and forth to get that process done. We even wrote an email to district manager..,no reply from him either. Made one last call and threatened to cancel through my credit card company if no one could give me a straight answer. Li and behold the next day I was called to say the piece was coming to the warehouse and could be delivered within the wee. The only reason I didn't rate an F is because I really like the furniture now that it's here

Purchased a bedroom set for delivery in May 2010. Delivery was on time, but 2 night stands had defective handle hardware. After over 10 telephone calls to customer service, 2 visits by customer service, and numerous e-mail messages, we still have 2 night stands with no handles for the drawers (approx cost of 2 night stands: $900). The 3 drawers in each nightstand are unuseable since there is no way to open them. Huffman Koos has treated us with disdain and contempt even after their own customer service technicians saw the defective furniture/hardware and admitted to us that it was defective. We have been waiting for four months to get the furniture we purchased into useable condition, and Huffman Koos sees nothing wrong with ignoring us.
