Took us to h*** and back.

The job went fairly smoothly.  A separate zone for heating and air conditioning had to be installed after Eric tried to run it off the already existing zone.  I was glad he tried and given the fact that it didn't run sufficiently enough to heat and cool the new room, I was in agreement that it had to have it's own zone.  The additional cost of $750 was very reasonable to me.   I'm very saitisfied with the end result and will be hiring Eric for future projects.    Just to note...the reason I hired Eric besides the price being reasonable had to do with my window seat and storage project.  While the other contractors seemed perplexed as to how to build it, some not even mentioning it in their written estimates...Eric wasn't phased at all and knew almost immediately how it was going to be done, alll the while keeping the cost down as much as possible.  A pleasure to work with I'd highly recommend his company for any home remodeling projects and found him to be very knowledgable and creative. 

I always wanted a fireplace and I wanted to install one in my living room in my home.  Long Island Gallery Homes suggested an electric fireplace, however the space that I wanted the fireplace to be installed in was only a 12' x 12' room and the only wall that it could be installed on had a large wall unit which housed by TV and music equipment.  I did not know exactly how this would be done, but Long Island Gallery Homes drafted a plan where the fire place mantel would house my TV and speakers and music equipment on and inside the mantel by installing fans for the sound system and TV the electronics would stay cool while the fireplace was running.  They built an inlet in the wall to house the TV a huge beautiful mantel with columns extending to soffits in the ceiling.  In front of the fireplace ceramic tile was installed stepped up and to match the existing ceramic tile that was on my living room floor.  The job was done very quickly and it exceeded my expectations.  I now have a beautiful fireplace that I can enjoy while relaxing and watch my TV or listening to music.

Long Island Gallery HOmes removed an existing wood floor that extended from front to back and installed a new foam block 10'x10' foam block bounce floor, 2 walls were removed to gain space and electrical work was revised and relocated.  Once that was complete a wall was installed for our waiting area, and additional mirrors were installed to accomodate the additional dance floor space that I gained.  In addtiion, finishing molding was completed and the walls were prepared to prime and paint.  All the work performed was done neat and precise.  The work was completed in a timely fashion to the extent that I was still able to open adn run my classes during the renovation as my schedule provided.  Once the studion was painted the space looked amazing.  I was very happy with the outcome and the new studio "look".  I had peace of mind thorugh out the entire project since this builder worked close with me and explained in detail what needed to be done, as the job was being done.  I am very pleased with the finish product!

A terrific job, start to finish. Bathroom was from the 60's, so we decided to have it torn out and replaced with something more fitting for our home. Tear down and drywall were done in less than 1 day. Electrical and plumbing was done on the second day, and full tile covering (floor and walls) took 2 days total. In less than a week, we had a beautiful new bathroom!

Overall everything went well. The project started with an estimate from Mr. Pearson and how long it would take from start to finish--and everything went just as planned. Actually, the total cost was $300 less than projected--so i bought Mr. Pearson a $100 gift card for starbucks.
