FOUR D LANDSCAPING

Equipment for mowing left visible wheel tracks in the grass.  They seem to contract out to other companies for additional work.

Requested the Fall clean-up, was told we were scheduled, no one ever showed - today is 12/27/14.

They did a great job with the clean up, but I wish their prices for other things were more reasonable. They are response and professional.

Landscaping is efficient and clean. 
The work crews are very good, and responsive.
Project Managers have been easy to work with, easy to contact and responsive. 
Masonry work was performed around a newly installed pool. 
Coordination between the 4-D and the Pool company was relatively smooth. 
Overall design was worked into the current backyard topography very nicely.  
Features including Water Fall and Sitting Wall add a great touch to the project. 
Any hiccups in the projects were readily addressed.

Very good, but a bit pricey.

Last year I had no grass. The former landscapers would come but no one ever told me that I needed to cut some trees if I wanted grass. They would have kept coming to mow 3 blades of grass. When I called them they told me I had no grass on a slope because of runoff. They came up with an elaborate drainage.plan but I refused. I had a consult with a tree expert who cut and trimmed some trees. He said that I would have no problem growing grass next Spring. Then we had 4 D Landscaping come and renovate the lawn.The grass grew beautifully, even on the slope. 4D comes every week to mow and blow and trim. Everything looks great. The workers are very nice. They worked very hard doing the Spring clean up and renovation. The office is responsive but I really do not have to call because there is no reason to call. Green is the Color comes and does the fertilization. I had some moles and they came right away and took care of the problem. As a team,, both are so much better than the last for landscapers that I have had. Next year will be the test to see how everything looks the second year. So far it is August and even with the lack of rain this summer, everything looks great. Thank you 4 D and Green is the Color.

Very pleasant landscapers - actually removed the extra grass from the mowers so there are no clumps of grass left on lawn - this was a first for me after using many landscapers previously. Very satisfied.

I had used FOUR D LANDSCAPING on multiple projects, but this was a real challenge. I buy, renovate and sell houses and this particular house in St. James was an expensive project. The soil in the front of the house had such poor drainage that no matter what irrigation setting I used the water just sat and actually turned to mildew and mold. You could smell the decaying grass, mildew and mold. FOUR D installed a drainage system to help the situation. It took three revisits and they were patient and accommodating. The responded within half an hour when I called. They did drive by checks of the  property at least once a week to assess the situation. I have since renovated another house in Stony Brook and when spring broke I had Sean on the job quoting out the landscaping job.  The project was started one week later and looks beautiful. They stand behind their work, changing out immediately a shrub that doesn't make it. Again they did complete cleanup, tree trimming & removal, chemicals and seeding and landscaping. They are very professional and take my concerns seriously. I would never look anywhere else for my outdoor needs. Their quotes are very competitive and they stand behind everything they do.

The Four D crew arrived early in the morning and began work immediately. They completed all of the above mentioned work and went above and beyond by removing three tree stumps for which we were not charged any additional money. When my wife asked the head of the crew why he removed the stumps, he told her that aesthetically the ugly stumps had to go, and that he always takes a lot of pride in the finished appearance of his product. The crew completed the work in a single day as promised, and left our property and the street in front of our house immaculate. Sean advised on proper watering/fertilizer requirements and now our lawn and property is the best it has ever looked! We're looking forward to using Four D again when we plan to add some new shrubbery and additional Fall plantings.

It has been 2 weeks from when someone from 4D came and I have not received a quote via email or phone.
I understand during the busy season, companies are too busy to do the work, but if that is the case, they should not have wasted my time or theirs. 
Due to their unprofessionalism and lack of responsiveness, I would not recommend this company.

Unfortunately, even though Suffolk County is listed as the "service area" and the vendor, who is located in East Setauket, is only 19 miles away from my property location (and in the same township of Brookhaven) I was informed that they do not travel that far and are only servicing properties on the North Shore. I think the vendor's ad should reflect their limited scope of operations.

The job was excellent!!  I called the office to let them know what a thorough job their workers had done.  I was
completely satisfied.

The professionals at Four D show up every week and knock out our lawn service quickly and efficiently.  If we're  having a special occasion we always let them know and they leave things looking extra good.  I highly recommend them.

Didn't use; doing lawn maintenance myself. Chris was very prompt in getting back to me and answering all my questions.

This is an area of pine trees on my property that is used to dump the leaves in the fall. Four D came with about 8 workers and left the area clean down to where you could see the dirt. It took them approximately 3 hours total.

Brought in app. 6 yards of top soil and leveled out area and then spread the top soil out. They did a great job in a tough back yard which is more or less all hill.

If you are considering having any lawn work done, don't look any further. Call Sean. I have lived in my home since 2004 and never did any work. I lost trees during the storms and over time my yard became ugly. Working on a budget i wanted a lot done without spending a fortune. My long term goal is to downsize. Last year I had an estimate, it was $17,000 and they were only going to work on my back yard. I gave up on the idea. I decided to research the project again and called two contractors. One never showed and then I met with Sean at 4 D Landscaping. He worked with my budget, he listened to what I wanted. He came back with a proposal that was exactly what I was looking for. I travel a lot for my job and I wound up having to be out of town the day that Sean and his team came to do the work.  I did not want to reschedule I was so anxious to get the job done.  I felt very comfortable with Sean and had no problem with his team doing the work while I was out of town. He exceeded my expectations. When I returned my home was beautiful. The work was better than I ever imagined. My front and back yards are stunning! I really hated by backyard before I met Sean, I didn't go outside and wanted to pretend it did not exist. I love my backyard and look forward to the best summer I have ever had in my home. I am not one to write reviews, but 4D is the best of the best.   Please call them you will be glad you did. I know I am.  

Just too expensive from other proposals.

Estimate provided for repair and replacement of landscaping and side walk retaining wall. First estimate cancelled because of weather. Company very responsive and rescheduled on first available mutual date. Pricing was the highest estimate received. The company was very professional and knowledgeable. I will choose a contractor once I receive other estimates.
