Excellent. The tree was in a very difficult position with several obstacles in the way. It required skill and patience to remove it. They worked very hard to do everything we needed to be done and aimed to please. We will use them for the rest of our transplanting this spring.

The crew must have packed more than a dozen bags of leaves within a couple of hours. Our yard looks great, and Bongiornos followed up to make sure we were satisfied. We could not be happier with this company's work.

They were an hour late. I called at about 10-15 minutes after they were scheduled to arrive and the person who answered said they had just returned form another job and would arrive in 45 mins. It was ok as I had no other appointments but I should have gotten a call. The crew was pleasant and ready to work. The lead person explained the job and offered advice about how to stay within the confines of the advertised price. We agreed on what to do as they started the work. All was satisfactory.

Chuck and his son CJ contacted me within minutes of my purchase. They were flexible scheduling both appointments. CJ came out to look at what I needed to be done and to assess what supplies would be necessary to complete the scope of work. CJ promised either he or his father would be onsite during the job. On install day, CJ arrived on time with a crew to get the job started. Chuck also showed up to make sure everything was going as planned. We checked in every hour or so on their progress. CJ answered any questions and made great suggestions to create a wonderful outdoor space. A few hours later...we had a beautiful lawn that doubled our yard and gone was the eyesore our vegetable garden had become. Thanks for a delightful transformation!

We chose Bongiorno's Contracting to redo our bluestone/flagstone patio and walkway. We are very happy with all aspects of the job - it was done in a timely and professional manner. We had several estimates. Bongiorno's wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, however, they had the best execution plan that made sense. One of their strong points is communication. They always made themselves available to answer any questions we had. Bongiorno's takes pride in what they do and wants to ensure the customer is happy.

From start to finish, Bongiorno Contracting was highly professional, prompt, friendly and first class.   Charles took the time to explain all of our options articulately and accurately so that we were able to make the best overall decision for our new front walkway. The team removed all of the old pavers, debris, and rocks quickly and without a trace. The new walkway was installed within the exact timeframe that I was promised and the final product is beautiful. This was a challenging project because the new curved walkway needed to merge with an existing stone staircase cleanly and naturally.    Bongiorno was able to accomplish this seamlessly. The entire team was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous throughout the entire project. I would definitely use them again for any paving/masonry work and would highly recommend them.

I've done contracting work and construction of all kinds, and so have dealt with a lot of trades. I called Bongiorno's as a homeowner, to take advantage of a special they were offering on tree work. (No large trees-- just already fallen trees/branches.) Charles came by to take a look at the job, and he thought that they would be able to do the work we discussed in the time frame covered by the special. So I scheduled to have them come out and do the job. The job included cutting up a fallen tree (about 40') that was laying on the ground, as well as the still standing trunk, removing a bunch of other small, 10' or so tall, dead trunks of other trees that had died in years past, removing a big branch from another tree that had fallen from the neighbor's property, and removing a large limb that fell from our tree and was leaning onto our neighbor's property. They completed all of the above work, and cleaned up really well after themselves -- which included blowing the wood chips into the woods, and stacking the logs for firewood. In addition, they stayed on to work beyond the time that was covered by the deal that I had paid for. So I was not only happy to pay them for their work, but to pay them a bit extra for doing a great job and for finishing the tasks at hand. Granted it was a special deal, but still, they got a lot done in the allotted time. And if you don't like dealing with workers who can be less than friendly, don't worry. Charles was really friendly and pleasant to deal with. The work they did was made up of tasks that I could have done with my guys. However, if I had had taken it on myself, or had one of my guys do it, it would have been much more of a hassle, and we would have had to stop the work we were doing. Beside that, Charles's guys are just better at it than we are. So it was definitely worth it to have hired professionals! And if I had had tree guys come in with climbers and chippers, it would have been way more expensive. So if you're not dealing with large trees that need climbers, then I would strongly recommend Bongiorno's. (Bongiorno's will also do larger trees-- but I didn't use them for that.) Knowing that Bongiorno's does masonry and other kinds of work, I'll be calling them for quotes on other jobs-- like resetting the brick around our pool, etc. We can do that ourselves too, but again, sometimes it's just better to have professionals in that trade do your work-- Thanks Charles!

Initially, Mr. Bongiorno junior visited us to give an estimate; senior was on vacation. Later, Mr. Bongiorno sr. visited us and surveyed the job.
He again explained what was going to be done and made a few suggestions. On the day of the job, which was raining, he and his crew professionally finished the job and he offered some parting tips. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a great Landscaper.

The contractor was prompt; provided a detailed written estimate. Arrivied at the property when expected on the day of the installation. Was respectful of neighbors by not blocking local street traffic with large trucks and instead parking large equipment on wider adjacent streets. Mr. Bongiorno was attentive to details.
