He gave us a price and completed the work right then and there.

$350.00 for a quarter bag of cement, too much and no value in that price.The guys spent less than a half hour total on roof working the chimney.

Jeff from Paramount was on time to assess the problem and give me a written estimate. He took photos and a video of the problem and showed them to me. When he handed me the estimate, he explained in detail what he suggested to do to correct the problem. I called and spoke to a very considerate and accommodating person to make the appointment. Jeff was again on time to do the project and completed it in a timely manner and to my complete satisfaction. The entire experience was professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend Paramount to friends and family and would call them for other projects in their field.

Mike and Nick did excellent professional work. They identified a potential hazardous problem and spent the extra time to explain it to me and then fixed it. They even fixed work done incorrectly by a previous pro. I would hire them again and look forward to using them for the chimney cleaning next year.

They found they were going to be late and they phoned me to let me know. I am very pleased with them and their customer service. Would definitely use them again.

Got it done professionally-no hassles

When I called Paramount, we were about to make an appointment and the person I was speaking with realized that he had a tech in my area. My chimney got cleaned within 30 minutes of calling!

Jeff and Matt were a great team. Jeff seemed very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with. I had a mysterious tar like substance oozing out under the baseboard and through the floorboards following the installation of a new high-efficiency boiler. After three boiler technicians failed to identify the problem Jeff did!they installed a chimney liner and the problem is resolved.

We hired Paramount for inspection and cleaning, as we had just purchased this home. It is a very old house with a central chimney and two fireplaces. They rescheduled last minute to accommodate us before a big snow storm which was very nice. From the moment they are over, it was evident they were in a big hurry. Probably wanting to get home as we were most likely their last stop for the evening. They were very neat and clean with their work, but the extent of what they did was just vacuum out the fireplaces with a shop vac and look up the chimney. They brought in Long brushes and said they went up the chimney s from the inside, though we never saw this occur. They did not go on the roof, did not inspect the chimney Cap, nothing. We asked for an estimate for installation of a wood stove insert, which they gave us, along with an estimate of a special cement, a chemical cleaning and so on and so on. All without a thorough cleaning or inspection. I believe he made a lot of assumptions based on the age of the house, which may or may not be true. After spending less than 45 minutes at the house, they gave us an estimate of more than $5000, handed us the bill for cleaning and left after we paid him. In 10 minutes he was back stating he had only billed us for one fireplace and had gotten in trouble with the office. In all fairness, we had been quoted a different price and he had undercharged us. Maybe if they weren't in such a rush they would have gotten it right in the first place. All in all we were left with the feeling we had just paid nearly $200 for a service we could have performed with our own shop vac for free. We will not be using this service for future work. Not because of the quote, but because it was rushed and based on assumption, rather than inspection. Very disappointing and this has caused me to lose faith in home advisor and your recommendations. We will stick to making our own choices and remain local. Thank you.

Friendly and professional. From the first phone call to the finished project. Everything was explained to me and pictures were taken to show me the damage. I would recommend them to others.

We had our chimney cap replaced, the chimney waterproofed, and the flashing replaced. Our techs, Matt and Mike, were knowledgeable and informative. They took pictures of the existing problems with the chimney and showed it to us before starting the work. They answered all our questions and even answered some questions we didn't know enough to ask. They were very professional and the pricing was reasonable.

The service guys, Nathaniel and Shawn, showed up on time, were professional and very competent. Explained what they were going to do - and then did what they said they'd do. The guy on the roof found lots of limbs and cleaned up the roof, too! I was very pleased with all the work!

They did a good job of sweeping the chimney, and they made an estimate for other work that needs to be done. I haven't moved forward on that yet.
