The owner met with us, listened to our needs, and gave us a thorough explanation of the different kinds of available windows. He then made useful suggestions on how we could both save energy costs and improve the attractiveness of our building without spending too much money. We accepted his offer. The following week, their representative measured all of our windows.
Several weeks later, they arrived precisely on schedule to remove our old and install our new windows. The job went along flawlessly. Their crew was courteous, neat, and eager to minimize any disruption to our business operations. The entire job took about 3 days start to finish. When done, they cleaned up and removed all of the debris.
This was one of the best contractor experiences we have ever had. I was so impressed, I'm having them replace the windows in my personal residence as well.

Originally he took a check of $2,000 up front to fix the area above the door while planning to fix the entire house for $6500. After finding out about the deal my mother's cousin called and tried to reach a deal with him to give the money back or even do just part of the work but he never agreed to anything and just kept the money. I called Mark in August in an attempt to get their money back, telling him he took advantage of my parents who barely knew what they were signing and using them for their money. He told me he would not give any of the money back and instead would do half the job in October, which turned into November and then December. On December 14th I then called him and told him he had until December 31st to finish what he said he would do 3 months earlier or I would take him to court. He never did any work on the house so I was forced to consult 3 different lawyers, only to learn I could not sue him on their behalf without power of attorney (which I now have.) I was unable to get any of my parents money back and he got away with stealing from my confused, elderly parents. In the end he never did any work on the house, not even the door he initially promised to fix for my mother, while keeping all of the money my parents originally gave him in check form. At the time my father could barely write his name. He took their money knowing they weren't fit to deal with the situation he placed them in and never intending to do any of the work on the house. He never showed any remorse for what he has done and I hope he never gets any more business because of his actions. He was the worst individual I have ever had to interact with in my life and it pains my heart the way he was able to take advantage of my parents in the way that he did.

The salesperson was very professional. Seemed knowledgeable about his company's product. Kind of high pressured. Said that I could have 10% off if I signed immediately. When I said no, I do not make decisions on the spur of the moment, he told me he had to contact his boss. This made me feel like I was purchasing a car, when they have to speak to their manager 1st before setting up a deal. Also, he had a questionnaire that needed to be filled out before we started talking about the windows. Another thing I didn't like was that when I engaged them at a local home show, I was not told that these were replacement windows only. I was looking for a complete knockout and repair work to be done around the whole window. I'm not sure if they used their own contractors or not and that's another thing I prefer. If the company gets my business, I want to make sure they have their own contractors.

I stress to all of our reps that they never attempt to pressure anyone into doing something that is not comfortable for them. The intent of offering the 10% discount mentioned is to give a homeowner an incentive only if they have enough information to make a decision, "yes" or "no" at the time of the presentation. This is our policy to offer this incentive as it does save our company money if the representative does not have to return at some point in the future, but can call on other appointments he/she may have that might result in a positive result. We save money with this "time management" approach to the business, and therefore, can offer this discount at the time of the initial presentation. We represent the highest quality and energy efficient window product available on the market today at a reasonable price, and if (member name removed) was offended, I ask that she accept my humble apology. If it means anything whatsoever, the representative that met with (member name removed) is no longer employed by Nexgen. We emphatically do not allow our reps to put pressure of any kind on prospective clients, and if it comes to my attention that this may have been the case, we do not allow it to continue. We thank (member name removed) for the opportunity to meet with her and hope that her window needs were met by another firm in a pleasing manner."

The salesman came to our house and gave us the typical replacement windows presentation. This was our fifth vendor that visited our home. Their product seemed like a very nice window but the salesman was extremely aggressive. He was knowledgeable about the specific product he was trying to sell (vinyl replacement windows) but did not understand the difference between inserts and full frame replacements. I don't think he had much experience in actually installing windows. After giving us his sale pitch, he insisted that we agree that "we had enough information to decide tonight" and make a purchase immediately even though we told him outright that we were not going to make a decision that night. We wanted to sit down later without any sales people around and compare all the different estimates and make an informed decision. He persisted in trying to get us to purchase his windows on the spot. We told him no and thanked him for coming over to give us his presentation. He then called his boss and said he needed to talk to him to prove that he was actually working but in reality, he was just using his boss to try to close the sale. We felt insulted and compared him to a bad used car salesman. I had to practically throw him out of my house because he wouldn't take no for an answer. I will never do business with Nexgen and I would recommend folks stay away!

We were at a County Fair and a Vendor for Windows caught our attention. We talked for a little while and he offered us a discount if we spinned the wheel. We were offered a 20% discount if we purchased after a home demonstration. At the home demonstration, we were impressed with the information and selection of windows etc and we contracted for about 10 triple pane windows of various sizes, a sliding Patio Door and a front entrance door. Installation was completed, before cold weather, in a couple days.
