I had a leak that caused damage to the kitchen ceiling.
I called Miracle to investigate, diagnose and fix the problem. Joe, a very nice man, came over and saw that shingles around a ventilation pipe were missing. He gave me a price on the spot and said he could come back the next day to fix this problem. After discussing with my husband, I called Miracle and told the woman that we agreed with Joe and would appreciate it if he could fix the problem the following day.
The following day, Joe came and fixed the roof. We've had a few strong rains since, and are dry as a bone. We are so relieved that the roof is fixed with Hurricane Sandy on the way!
I would definitely recommend Miracle Home Improvements.

Had storm damage to my house, and called Miracle for an estimate. They came and gave me what appeared to be a fair estimate. The man who came was very pleasant.The problem was, when it came time to sign the contract they said they would not be able to begin the work for 5 weeks or longer. I'm sure they were very busy because the storms affected many homes in my area, but sadly this made the whole exercise a bit of a waste for me since I had major damage to my home and really needed it fixed as quickly as possible.Their people are friendly and I'm sure they do good work. I only wish they were more forthcoming about their availability in the beginning.

Had a tree go through 2 car garage. Needed new roof ASAP. Spoke to them on a Friday. They came right out gave an estimate. I agreed to job and they started that Monday. They did my home roof a few years earlier. THEY ARE VERY professional. They are a little pricier than others, but more than worth it. They do not cut any corners. They do ALL the steps needed to ensure a quality roof. They clean up on a daily basis. When you come home from work, if they are not finished (like on a big job) they clean every single thing up. They did two jobs for me. The started both and worked till finished. In other words they did not leave me hanging wondering when they would come back and finish. Another point, they did not use "pick up crews". The same crew that did my roof years ago did my garage. I would not hesitate to use them again. up another one and leave me hanging.

They are a very good company. They are reliable and transparent with what they are giving me. They do not try to sell me something that I don't need. Whenever I need the gutters to be cleaned, they do that. For the window work, I was given a breakdown of the price by window, and it was a good price. The quality of work was great. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future; if there is a home project to be done, they would probably be the first place I would call. I would probably get a comparison price from somebody else too, but more likely than not, I would end up going with them.

The job was started with a on-site quote and they provided catalogues to choose the door. After choosing the door, they took care of ordering it and called when it arrived. Installation was professional, clean, and perfect. The quote was right on target. No extra charges or surprises. Also, everyone was right on time. Cleaned up the work site perfectly. I will definately use them again in the future and recommend this outfit highly! This story is short because it was done so quickly and with no problems at all!

I had spent $2000 on their first visit in 2005 and $2500 in 2006, which was their last visit. We had one issue where there was a gap and they said they will call back. One of the windows came out of its tracks and they came and fixed it. The attic window was also not measured correctly so they had to come back another time with a remade window. I would not recommend them to people who are trying to rehabilitate their home. The woman tried to get me to get rid of my 1912 original windows.

"In response to the above, when we received a call to come out and fix the window that came off the track, we responded at once, and sent a technician to assess the window; what we had explained to the homeowner, is when the window is tilted in for cleaning, the window should be opened prior to tilting (instructions were given after windows were installed). When this is not done, the window will come off the track. Given the problem did not stem from Miracle Home Improvements, we still fixed it, AT NO CHARGE. The attic window was made incorrectly by the window company, and we immediatley ordered a new one and rectified this as well."

I had to find a new contractor to finish replacing the last of the windows in my home, because the one who had done the rest went MIA. (We did it in sections because of cost; we have 27 windows). Their quote came in the same as the previous quotes. They had to order the windows, so the work did not start 'til about 6 weeks later. I then had to put off their start date because of some conflicting house work, and they were very agreeable. The work was neat, and any complaints we had or adjustments we needed were taken care of quickly. Mary, one of the owners, is very responsive and pleasant; she comes out to check on the job as it progresses (every day, I think). Overall we were happy.

I DID NOT FEEL VERY IMPRESSED. THEY BASICALLY DIDN'T DO THE WORK THAT THEY SAID THEY HAD DONE OR THE WORK THAT THEY DID DIDN'T TURN OUT RIGHT. WE ASKED TO HAVE IT ALIGNED PROPERLY, AND IT'S NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY. I DON'T THINK IT'S THE COMPANY'S FAULT. IT'S JUST THAT THE DOOR ISN'T THAT GREAT. IT'S POOR QUALITY MATERIAL.

"WE INSTALLED A STORM DOOR 3 YEARS AGO. WE WERE CALLED BACK TO REPAIR THE DOOR. AFTER EXAMINATION, WE FOUND THAT PERHAPS THE DOOR WAS NOT FULLY CLOSED, AND THE WIND HAD CAUGHT THE DOOR, THEREFORE CREATING THE CLOSURE TO LOOSEN FROM THE DOOR FRAME. WE'VE ONLY HAD ONE TIME WHERE THEY DID WORK, BUT I CERTAINLY WOULD CALL THEM AGAIN. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH IT, AND PEOPLE WHO'VE SEEN IT SAID IT LOOKS VERY NICE. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.
