The preparation was very labor intensive. Previous layer(s) were turning chalky. They needed to scrape all the cedar shake shingles down to a good layer before painting. The grooves of the cedar shakes make the job very difficult. Three years later the house still looks great!

Halliwell Painting & More is very thorough, honest, and upfront. I plan on using him again when he finishes another project. I am really pleased with him, he does a good job.
