At this time, we are only doing moves within Nassau and Suffolk Counties. For fastest response, please call our office at (631) 828-1687. Whether you are moving just a few items or the contents of an apartment, small home or small office, loading or unloading a storage unit we have affordable rates with professional service. We also offer labor only services for loading/unloading PODS and trucks or help with moving furniture within the home or out to the curb.

Horrible experience , movers were very rude when I asked them to please be careful with my fragile items. The screen on my Television was busted at the bottom and they told me it was like that before they moved , which it was not !

"Mr [Member Name Removed] please call the office as our records don't show Small Moves Long Island moving a customer with your name at all, or any moves completed to the [Member Information Removed] address in Mastic Beach that is shown here. As well as no customers that have called in to complain of any damage.....We do have a crew member that was let go yesterday who is very unhappy about it who did threaten to bad mouth the company and the timing of this review just seems a bit too coincidental. Reviews are extremely important to companies and its all too strange that with all the 5 star reviews Small Moves Long island has received, that this negative review shows up at this time. If indeed you are a customer and the job was booked under a different name and for a different location, please call the office to further discuss."

From my first phone call June was great. She talked to me, asked me questions, other companies I called sounded like they were reading from a script. June was wonderful to work with and called me back immediately with a quote. She called the day before the move to confirm, as she said she would. No small thing today for a company to do what they say they will do. Bob and Dustin were fabulous. Punctual, friendly, efficient. Made a very difficult move easier. Will most definitely use them again in a few months.

This company was amazing!! They did the job fast, neat and I had no complaints. I had many boxes and and pictures which they places in my storage unit in a way that maximizes the room to include more things if needed. They carefully places my pictures in boxes so the glass wouldn’t break. I would highly recommend them and most of all the price was reasonable. And they were organized as well 2 guys who did a great job in unloading and the other guy who stayed with the truck and helped with the process of unloading etc. I had to give them a huge tip due to the perfect service. The team from Small Moves was phenomenal. June was a delight and made booking clear and easy. The movers - two friendly professional men - arrived on time and were courteous and efficient. We completed my move in under two hours. I wish I had been able to be credited back for the extra hour we didn’t use but understand they have a 3 hour minimum. It was worth the extra money for the teams professionalism. They made my moving day really easy and stress free. Would definitely recommend.

Small Moves was on time with (3)men to move me from 2nd story apartment to 1st floor apartment. They disassembled & assembled my bed in no time & nothing was damaged. The men were courteous & respectful to me & there were no unexpected charges. Between all the prepping I did & their experience it took only (2) hours to complete the move. Good to know there are still companies you can rely on !!

It went really well. The movers were great and very professional and friendly. We moved from a 2nd floor apartment to another 2nd floor apartment. We worried some of the furniture would not be able to get into the very narrow hallway at the new place, but these guys made miracles happen. Very satisfied with their service and highly recommend.

It went very well. I was very satisfied with every aspect. Their communication was great and their work is fantastic. June, who answers the phone, does great follow up and makes sure everything goes smoothly. The workers all really work hard to make sure they are able to get the move done.

The work went perfectly. Bob and Bill arrived on time and were a delight to deal with. They were both professional and very friendly and funny and made me feel at ease. When they got to the storage facility they used their expertise to load the unit in such a way as to make it easy on me if I needed to go in and find something. When I'm ready to make my final move I will be calling them again.

The crew was professional, pleasant, and patient. We were moving from Iowa with a newborn and pets, so we were a bit frazzled. We had more stuff than we'd anticipated, so a second trip from the ABF UPack facility was needed, and the move took longer than expected. Bob, Chris, and Bill were wonderful and we appreciated their help.

Overall it went in.. and quickly.. Here's what I liked.. The guys were friendly, prompt and professional. More importantly Here's what I didn't like: 1. They Wrapped NOTHING. ALL my furniture suffered some sort of bumps and scratches very frustrating after it was in the new house to discover all the small damages. 2. A couch that I was told by the men, could not be removed thru the door or windows, was left behind, Which left me very upset and frustrated. When actually with the removal of a glass globe off the ceiling which required no tools, this couch was later removed from the apartment by the following tenant and delivered to my home. Small moves could have costed me close to $800 to replace the couch because they gave up on it, and the new tenant was nice enough to not cut it up before attempting the removal of it. 3. I had to disassemble furniture! They did not come with any tools, and I had to take apart the queen bed., and subsequently, when installed into the master bedroom, it was not re-assembled properly and the drawers in the bed fail when opened. All in all if you have stuff to move, they are ok if you don't care too much about your things..

"[Member Name Removed] sorry to hear you were not happy with the moving service you received, however when our crew tried to get your couch out of the apartment it was quite obvious that it wasn't fitting out the door. The man asked how you got it in there and you replied it was delivered thru the window, but that the complex had since replaced the windows and the new window was too small for it to fit thru. As far as your mention of tools, our trucks are fully loaded with all the possible tools needed to do minor assembly/dis-assembly, and we give the customer the option of doing their own assembly/dis-assembly to save them the cost of the additional time it takes if our crew does it. To address your issue with "all your furniture received bumps and scratches" our crew is extremely careful when handling our customers belongings and if on a rare occasion a scratch does happen our crew will point it out to the customer."

Great moving company. Came on time, moved completed in under 3 hours. I did wrap most of my furniture beforehand, so it was grab and go for the movers. Chris and Bob were fantastic. Not only were they professional, but they were great guys to chat with. Best experience I've had with a moving company and I'm glad I didn't go with one of the bigger moving companies.
