We hired Rubber Duck Plumbing after we found our heat was not heating the house well on an extremely cold day. We also had an issue where our heat in the kitchen/dining room never worked since we purchased the house a few months ago. Joe from Rubber Duck came in and let us know that the issue was the setup of the pipes at the time. Unfortunately the previous owner of this house believed he was a jack of all trades and redid the plumbing for the heating himself which is why it did not work. Joe didn't just tell me that the plumbing needed to be replaced, he explained exactly why the heat was not working and what he would have to do to fix it. He came with his team two days after the initial consultation and performed the work, completely replacing the system. He did not race through to slap something together and move on. Joe and his team actually spent time rebuilding this system and were extremely meticulous about it. When all was said and done, not only did our heat work better than ever, we had heat in our kitchen/dining room which we didn't think would ever happen. Other reviewers state that they are pricey. My opinion is you get what you pay for and what you will get with Rubber Duck is quality craftsmanship. The old system done by the previous owner rattled and was secured loosely. After Rubber Duck did their work, the pipes are secured throughout the basement. Literally the only thing you hear when the heat comes up and that is it. No rattles or shakes. When Rubber Duck pulls up to your house you will see their trucks say Master Plumber. This is exactly what they are and what you are paying for. We will be using Rubber Duck for all plumbing needs going forward after seeing the quality of work. I highly recommend them if you are looking for excellent craftsmanship and a team who comes with expertise, experience and knowledge. Thank you again for the excellent work Rubber Duck Plumbing.

This company was phenomenal. They came right away, even though I wouldn't consider a leak from my kitchen instant hot water dispenser urgent. Arrived on time, gave advice in contacting the manufacturer which eventually saved me $180, and refused to charge anything for the first visit. That's right - no service charge. Their ad on Home-Advisor listed a very reasonable fee, but they just said to call when the new heater was delivered. Installation was smooth and the fee was $249. Do not hesitate to use Rubber Duck. I've owned this home in Massapequa for 32 years, and seen my fair share of plumbers. These people are special.

He was on time and finished quick, a little on the expensive side

The guys showed up and quickly diagnosed the issue. The waste pipe under the toilet had a crack in it. They removed the toilet, replaced the rotted pipe and reset the toilet. They cleaned up after themselves. Neat, efficient and knowledgeable. They will definitely receive referrals from me. Thanks.

We hired Rubber Duck to clear a drain. We have had others work on it and I let him know this in advance. He said he could get it done. When he got there my husband also mentioned we have a clogged drain. He fixed the clogged drain and heard the toilet running and put a new float in that. By the way the float was not the problem. He then proceeded to clear my drain and blew the drain right off the shower. He said he would put in a new shower for $4,400 and dig out the pipe. He then charged me over $600 for the repair that was not done. I was recommend anther person who came in and fixed the drain and the toilet for $200. I would never use him or recommend him to anyone. I feel he owes me a refund.

I didn't shop this job for other quotes since it was kind of an emergency but the price seemed pretty fair. The guy was timely, courteous and professional. He explained everything completely.

John, came to my home and presented extremely clean, neat, polite, very profession. These are the first signs you look for. He look at the problem; wrote an estimate completed the work no mess and I thought he was great. I found a new plumber FINALLY! i am waiting on an estimate for another project I would like them to do. I highly recommend them.

Professional, courteous and conscientious.There were some unusual problems that came up (not his fault) and he went above and beyond to make sure everything came out perfect. Would definitely recommend.

we found a new plumber, was labor day and no one wanted to come out and fix it . The plumber who did the job never returned our call . Called three times Miracle plumbing and heating did the original job . supposed to have 24 hour emergency service . never had the coursity to return our phone calls . Also used the wrong parts as to why it started leaking again . Rubber Duck plumbing did a wonderful job ,fixed the problem and came out on labor day . He was very honest and said he tries to do 24 hour emergency service but at times it is not possible . I will be hiring Rubber Duck again. ANd i do reccomend him for all your plumbing needs

I left a message with rubber duck plumbing and within 5 minutes they got back to me.I spoke to John and he came over the the next morning and he explained everything very clearly to me and then he installed a kitchen faucet and fixed my bathroom tub washers .The work was excellent and the price was good ,It's hard to find a good plumber and I will be using them again.
