Description of Work: These people talk to you like your a idiot. Especially that thing called a office manager Donna. I would have definitely signed up with Skaggs Walsh and have even paid there Higher oil prices per gallon. I don't mind paying a few dollars more for piece of mind. If your burner shuts down at 2-3 am in the morning Skaggs would be there. But to be talked down to and be spoken to like I'm there child does not agree with me. So I decided to have my 5 apartment buildings 2 in Manhattan and 3 in Long Island city be serviced and oil supplied by petro. Remember one thing people you can tell a lot from a company just by the first 2 mins on the phone. If your going to get rudeness as a potential customer amagin after you sign your name on that contract. Oh and my father will be switching over to another oil company after his contract expires the end of this month he also owns many real-estate through out Brooklyn queens and Manhattan. We will also spread the word to everyone we know never to use this company who has disgusting business skills. To Donna and anyone answering phones at Skaggs Walsh be sure to let this be a lesson to be nice to the customer weather they have one house or 20 cause you never know how many accounts they can bring you along with the revenue.

 + -1 moreThey were the most professional throughout of all the companies I spoke with: did a very detailed proposal/quote, were very neat doing their work (and our basement is full of stuff, mostly books--no damage or issues) & have great customer service. The only issue we have had so far was that after about a month the ductwork connecting the boiler to the chimney fell down. They repaired it promptly under the service contract (same day). The financing agreement we signed with them was also very fair. The fuel contract has also worked well. All in all, we are pleased with the experience so far.
Description of Work: Installation of new oil-fired boiler, new ductwork, removal of previous non-functioning boiler, financing agreement, service contract.
