This job was excellent from beginning to end.  Mike came out promptly to give a quote.  All details were ironed out effortlessly and the job was scheduled easily.  The crew came out right on time and did an excellent job on the work.  Their motto is correct, Preparation was perfect!  In the end, we are very happy with the work that was done and disappointed that we did not use them sooner.  We will definitely use them in the future.

I got three estimates and the other two were significantly lower. I was impressed by MIke Spilotras who came and gave me an estimate - he was thorough, pointing out issues so there were no surprises. NO one else had, but once pointed out the issues were obvious.  I'm convinced that if I used one of the other companies they would have painted as they were paid to do, but not made any corrective adjustments.  Wy would they care if I had Carpenter ants eating away at the wood, they were there to paint.  
Everyone, from the Spilotras brothers, to the office staff, to the painters was professional.  I lived surrrounded by painters and the inevitable clutter for almost two weeks.  There was some mess, not unexpected, but they tried to deal with it on a daily basis.  When I was unhappy with cleanup after one long hot day, it was the first thing taken care of the next morning, with follow-up from Rob Spilotras.  
My house looks beautiful and is now ready for the next 10 years.  Definitely money well spent.

I was very happy with the completed job. It was always easy to get a quick answer regarding any question I contacted them with. I did take a while for the job to get done, but that was not their fault just the fact that it was constantly raining. I would def recommend them to friends or use them again for other work.

They were really good. I liked everything about them. I think it was the owner who came out and gave me the estimate and there were two of them who actually did the painting and they were all very good.

Bob and Rob, the owners, were easy to reach and responsive to questions. They also stopped by and checked progress. A company is only as good as the workers they hire to actually do the job. Hector was the lead man. He was  a true professional and took enormous pride in the work he did. It was a pleasure to have Hector and his fellow  workers around for almost a week. I am very particular about how things are done and I have already hired Spilotras for inside painting work.  I will be sure to request that Hector return to do all of the work of my work.

Excellent. I would highly recommend is company. They are very professional, should up on time for the estimate as well as the job. Explained everything that would be done and all was done done exactly as stated it would be. Workers were very courteous and kept the property very clean even during their work.

Michael and his team are fantastic. Our home was built in 1850 and after the work they did you'd think it was brand new. The whole process took several days of tedious work but his guys always showed up on time and made signifigant progress every day. They were really great about protecting the rest of the house from dust and, most importantly, the original hardwood floors of the house.
Addtionally, Michael is very responsive via email and sends you electonic estimates promptly after he comes by to size up the work.

It went really good. They showed up on time, did what they said they were going to do, did a really nice job and made sure I was happy with the work.

I would recommend them.  They are a little pricey but the service was good.  Very quick and professional.  I would give them an A+ for professionalism.

The vinyl siding sparkles and the house looks beautiful.

To reiterate, the bathroom is gorgeous and makes the rest of the house look drab. We're ready to paint the entire house.

The service was excellent, clean and professional. The owner was very interested in the outcome came several times to check the work. Also did some additional things free of charge such as coming back to repair the crack again, custom fit the cover for the one vent for the central air, painted additional door frames. this was difficult work because of our wall treatment much more primer and paint had to be used but we were not charged extra. very pleased with the final product and would always recommend spilotras painting.

Rob and Mike were extremely professional and went out of their way to accommodate the schedule of my house renovations. I moved into my house late October and needed work completed by several providers prior to having the family over for Thanksgiving. Spilotras was honest about how long the work would take. If you have ever done a renovation or had to work with several providers at once, you understand the importance of this!
Spilotras was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive, both by email and phone. The onsite crew was very neat (i.e. cleaned up after themselves every day) and respectful. They were on time every morning and worked hard throughout the day. The end result was amazing. In fact, during the project I saw what a great job they were doing and asked Rob and Mike if their crew could paint an additional area of my house. The next day they sent extra crew and got to work. The price was reasonably adjusted. I believe they were priced very fairly for the quality of work completed. I would use Spilotras again in a heartbeat.

Can't say enough good things.  On time, work done professionally, clean and neat, a lot of attention to detail.

Very competent crew.  We are very satisfied with the work done.

Initially when the guy came to give the estimate he told me a certain date that they would do the work and that was postponed by a week and then getting them to follow up took a while to do the gutter work. They did parts of the work okay. I was disappointed in one thing that they did not do right and I did have to stay on them to complete the work and getting them to get the moss and mildew off of the gutters.  They were not on time. The price was good. They did not do one section of the garage side roof and that was in the contract. They did a really good job on everything besides the roof shampoo as we had moss and mildew on that and the gutter. The real reason that I called them was for the roof cleaning and the gutter cleaning and that was not done well. He had to redo the contract initially as they did not include the gutter in the first contract and it should have been in that.

I spoke to them and I had them come out and give me a rating. He has a high rating on Angie's List but he was also very expensive. They were very professional, showed up when they said they would, provided a timely estimate and they did all the right things. I was very up front with the people who came to see what I needed to do. I'm not looking for the cheapest guy but I'm not looking for the most expensive on either. I'm looking for the biggest bank for my buck. So this guy gave me an estimate and I was definitely considering him doing the work until I told my friend about how I'm having the house painted and he said, "Listen before you do that give my friend a call, he could use the work. He's excellent at painting and he's a do-it-all guy. He could use the work, he's a buddy of mine, give him a call and let him come on down." So he came and did it significantly cheaper than all the guys I got estimates from. I was actually pleased with the work he did. But with Spilotras, I ranked them high, I was pleased with them but in the end I just went woth a different person based on price point.

It went very well. The workmanship was good and I was pleased with the finished result.

Would highly recommend them. Owners are very nice, as well as the actual painters. Super comfortable having them in our home, even when we weren't there, and locked up our house for us. Also adjusted what time they came each morning to fit our schedule better.

Spilotras did an incredible job from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout the 2+ week process. They were also extremely flexible with scheduling, taking two days off for my flooring contractor to come in and do his piece, and then working through the weekend (both days!) to get the job finished in time for my move-in target date. The quality of the workmanship is superb. The workmen were all hard working, polite, respectful and neat. The jobsite was left clean of all job materials.  This company is the best of the best. I couldn't be happier with the work they did- it far exceeded my expectations.

We moved to NY in late summer and the house we purchased needed new fresh paint/colors.  I got three estimates and decided on Spilotras due to their prompt estimate and professionalism.  The owner came out the day after my call to view the size of the job and I had an estimate that night.  They quickly got us on the calendar and the 3 man crew that came out were courteous, professional and did an amazing job.  We were so pleased with their work, we hired them to do the rest of the interior earlier this month.  Their prices were competitive and I would highly recommend this company.

His prices were extremely high.  I got eight quotes and his was the highest; he was $3000 more than my other bids. He showed up on time and he seemed okay.  He was polite and professional.  I probably wouldn’t get another quote from him because he was so high.
