Big L Windows & Doors

Excellent!  Travis was fantastic and very responsive to my initial questions and concerns.  The estimate was fair  (based on two other bids I received) and reasonable with the Angie's list discount and truck load sale.  The professionalism of the install staff was impressive. The quality of the work was excellent and all finishing touch issues were resolved without question.  I was very impressed from start to finish with this company and I will definitely be using them again.

The people at Big L were all fantastic.  The salesman Travis was very professional and helpful.  It took 2 1/2 days to complete the work. We had good weather and they showed up with a team of 5 guys the first day, then 2 or 3 the next days. Very polite, quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Very well.  They arrived on time and had all 11 windows out & new ones in in approx. two hours.  The rest of the time involved sealing, cutting and installing trim and cleanup.  i was very pleased in the work they did.  I would use them again.

We used them 2 months ago. It was great. We went to their showroom and they installed them. We bought the windows. They were a bit expensive, but we did not price around. I would recommend them to anybody.

They did a very good job! They weren’t the cheapest company by far, but they have a good reputation. The sales guy was great. The workers completed the work quickly and cleaned up after the work was done.

The work was wonderful! They have a great service department.  The service was outstanding and they pay great attention to detail. The sliding doors were large, ten foot doors that needed additional tweaking and they made them perfect. That is why we will keep going back to them.

The work was great and the windows were of great quality. The person we worked with was friendly, had good communication, and was easy to work with.

It turned out great! There were a couple of situations they had to remedy. The wrong lock was ordered twice. It took a little longer than we expected, but it in the end it turned out fine. They were easy to work with. We would recommend them to others if they had an issue with windows or doors.

larWhere do I start?  I can't say enough good things about Big L window and Doors.  I am a realtor and I will be recommending them to all my clients.  I looked for 5 years for a company to replace my old worn out casement windows. Frustrated with salesman and the ridiculous pricing, I put off the project year after year until I met Fritz at Big L.  Believe me, I have spoken to every big and small window company out there.  Fritz never tried to oversell anything I did not need.  He was very informative and was reachable during the entire process.  His creative ability helped guide me to the right solution for my home.  Fritz followed up by personally staying involved all the way thru install.  Everyone at Big L seemed to genuinely care about my satisfaction. Norm-in charge of installers/service-met me at my home and told me exactly how the process would go.   I met the owner, service manager and window reps!  On the day of install, Fritz, Norm, Sunrise Windows and the entire install crew were there to be sure I was satisfied.  They worked efficiently and professionally.  Their installers have been in the business for years and are highly skilled. Everything went according to schedule.  Windows were in as promised, days needed to install were accurate and they were able to accomodate my deadlines.  The windows are awesome!!
Don't think twice about using Big L.  They are the best of the best--without the high price tag!!

Removed the old window(s) and replaced insulation that came out. Put in new energy efficient triple pane windows. Calked around to seal these window(s) in. A picture window and two small(22 in) wide windows were put in. They came in 10 minutes early and worked through rain to make sure the window was replaced properly. Took about four hours to remove and replace the windows. Cleaned up and made sure nothing was left behind. Had a new rug in the parlor. They put down plastic to protect the rug and when they had to work indoors they had booties on to protect the rug and wood around the windows. This company does exactly what it promises. I would definitely recommend them.

It was a very positive experience. I thought the estimate was fair and it seemed like high quality products that I looked at. The description of the work they were going to do was pretty detailed. I felt like I wouldn't have hired them if I didn't think it was good.

It is going to take 6 weeks since they gave us the quote and we are waiting for them to do the work, they have to order the windows because they are custom.  The process of getting the quote from them was easy and their demeanor was nice.  They were perfectly lovely.

The estimate was reasonable price. They had an excellent salesman. We had set estimates from two other places and Big L was the highest but they had the highest quality of product. Their demeanor so far is excellent. So far everything is “A” – the salesman, the guy that came out and did the measurements. I feel that so far they’re the most professional people that come out. Yes, I will use them because we've already signed a contract with them.

From Sales to installation was excellent. Concerns and questions were dealt with professionally and quickly.
The install was done very meticulous and the clean up after was above board. Very happy with the installers.

We spoke with several window installation contractors and got estimates. Big L price structure is probably middle of the road. They feature Marvin windows. The quality of Marvin products is very good. Our sense is that Big L has a well trained in-house staff. They do not use subs. Our final decision was based on the the product and the installer. We are very pleased with the quality of service.

The guys were great!  They did their work meticulously, and were friendly as they worked.
