Brian's dad, Bill Bonell began All Weather Guard in 1971 as a one man operation, doing all roofing projects by himself. After 47 years of great success, his son Brian, who graduated from Hofstra University with a Business Degree, has come on board and has taken over and plans to continue in the tradition of his father for years to come. The Bonell family has replaced tens of thousands of roofs in the Long Island area while turning houses into dream homes! I called to make an appointment for an estimate and Brian called me back within a few hours. He then came out the next morning. We talked through various options for dealing with our problem and I asked him to provide us with two estimates - one for a leak repair job and one for a roof replacement . He emailed me both estimates within one hour of leaving our house.
For peace of mind (and for the workmanship and material warranties), we decided to replace the entire roof and we were able to use an Angie's list member promotional $300 coupon.
They did a wonderful job and the crew was pleasant and polite. They finished the job in a day and half and clean up was thorough.
Work included removing two existing layers of shingles and installing an entirely new roof including felt paper, ice and water shield, shingles, ridge caps, new boots and flashing and also included removal and replacement of some siding along two roof rakes in the rear.
Brian was very professional, knowledgeable and responsive. We would recommend All Weather Guard to others.
I thought it was a fair price and was pleased that even though it was a small job, there was no attempt to inflate the magnitude of the job beyond what it actually was. I would not hesitate to use them for a larger job.
