My birthday was on the 8th and I received a bouquet of flowers from my son.  It had many buds, but some greenery was frozen.   So I put them in water and the buds died the next day.  I called to have them replaced as they have a 100% guarentee.  They say they will send more and scheduled with me a time of when they would come out to deliver.  I moved my day around for this and nobody came.  I called the company and they said that since I was just the recipient, my request was rejected.  I asked why I was not informed of this and they said they were going to call me. However, they never had my phone number.  I am unhappy with this service as they did not seem to care and they were not a good company to work with. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They are really good.  One can either go on line or call them and order flowers.  What they will do is that they will use the car for local florists for you if you do not want to mail to them, like in a box.  So they will use the local florists and use them to do the order and give them business too.  It is an easier way for the local florists to get more business.

I ordered the flowers online, but there was no way to specify a time, and i wanted to make sure that they would arrive in time for the service, so I spent 30 minutes on hold so that I could talk to someone, and they assured me that it would be delivered by 3.  We arrived at 3, and the flowers were not there.  I was already very distraught, and this was just more than I could handle.  My daughter waited on hold for about 45 minutes before she was able to speak with someone, and they said they could bring them by 5:00, which was unacceptable since the service began at 4:00.  When we left the service at about 5:30, the flowers were in the lobby, but as far as I'm concerned they might as well not have been delivered at all.  They offered 20% off and a discount on a future order, but I never saw the 20% refund, and I have no interest in doing business with them again. I have been a long-time customer of 1-800-flowers , ordering approximately 6 times a year.  But I am now using proflowers.com, who have not yet disappointed me.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.  My mother lives about 12 miles from the closest town.  I ordered the flowers online and the first issue the company did call me about... only after the flowers weren't delivered on Sat as promised. They said they'd deliver on Sunday, so I agreed to that.  However, late on Sunday, I called them since the flowers hadn't arrived and they said that the florist selected didn't deliver on weekends, so I agreed to Monday and a higher delivery charge.  They offered me a small refund for the trouble.  They were instructed to have the florist call my mother on Monday to let her know when they would be there.  No call, no flowers.  So I waited until the following Sunday (today) just to see if anyone would call me or email me - nothing except a charge on my credit card.  So I called them just now and learned that the florist wanted to make substitution so they hadn't delivered.  No one bothered to call me to ask and it would have been fine.  So I cancelled the order, requested a full refund and advised them I'd never use their service again.

They were terrible. I sent a sympathy bouquet , took my time with the person taking the order, because of their accent I spelled out each letter in the message (example: B as in boy). got the confirmation email and saw that ?SYMPATHY? (they were Sympathy Roses they wrote "SIMPATHY")was misspelled as well as the name of the Funeral Home. I let them know of the mistake, spoke with the supervisor, and spent a lot of time just to get this corrected and asked for another confirmation email with the corrected version which I never received. Because of the recent bad weather, I called and let 1800FLOWERS know that they did not have to deliver on Monday and that Tuesday would be ok. I was being thoughtful of the delivery person; I did not want him out in the snow. Tuesday I called to check and my delivery; the order to the florist wasn't sent. After several calls, it was straightened out. Every person I called to get it all straightened was hard to communicate with. The flowers finally made it to the funeral home by 2 pm. For all my trouble they offered $20 off my NEXT purchase---I don't even want that. I will never use them again!

They have a wide variety of bouquets and such. It's easy to use them. I order it on the computer, I tell them when I want them, and they send it that day. I've never talked to anybody in person. According to my mother, the bouquet always comes in good condition.

The flowers come straight from the grower. My husband has sent me numerous roses from them. They come by Federal Express since they come straight from the grower, and everyone that I have bought flowers for say they're packaged well.

The flowers were never delivered. They tried to tell me it had been delivered but it was not there for the funeral. They have offered to give me my money back but I don't feel like that's enough to make up for the situation. I was really hurt that they didn't deliver the flowers to my father's funeral.

The gift was supposed to be a batch of smiley faced cookies with a related 40th birthday message from me to the birthday recipient. The Birthday recipient received the batch of cookies with a completely wrong non-birthday message attached complete with a wrong sender name unbeknownst to the birthday recipient. The recipient had no idea who sent the gift, and a month later it came up in conversation that they had never said thanks for the gift...that's because they had no idea who it was from...when the company was notified of this gaffe and I asked for a refund they said no, because the cookies had been received...They failed to stand by their customer and have lost a once valuable customer...They would not acknowledge that in fact the order was screwed up...I was very frustrated especially because this had been a special occasion. Do not waste your hard earned money on 1-800-flowers..com, they will not stand by their customer. How sad that they treat us this way.

I ordered flowers on 2/13/08 for my wife to be delivered on Valentines Day, 02/14/08 , and the flowers never showed up. The funny part is I was talking to my wife on the phone @ 4:37pm when I got a email indicating delivery confirmation. As of 5:10pm my wife still had not received her flowers. I tried to contact 1-800-FLOWERS.COM via phone and the automated system just hung up on me. I tried their sales number and was on hold for 47 minutes before a had to hang up. I sent a email via their email system on 2/14/08 and got a auto responder return indicating someone will get back with me. As of today no phone call or email.

Ordering was fine. Flower arrangement produced locally did not represent what was ordered from on line image and was very disappointing. This was the lone arrangement at the funeral and was supposed to be very special. Flowers were not the same color and they were already drooping. An email sent to 1800flowers resulted in a very quick reply and full credit. I was very pleased that they stood behind their "satisfaction guarantee" and did so quickly. I will try them again, hopefully with better results.

The flowers were delivered via FedEx and arrived in OK shape, but a little dry. I immediately trimmed the ends and put the flowers in warm water; according to the directions provided. The roses rebounded excellently. The bloom is large and the lilies are beautiful.

I have been using 1-800 Flowers for a few years now and have always been very happy with their service. The plants are always exactly as they look online, including the planter, and always delivered right on time. When one recent recipient received a live plant that died shortly after, the company was very good about replacing it, no questions asked. The prices and delivery are a bit high but don't seem to be out of place with what local florists charge.

Flowers arrived on time, and I was notified of delivery. However, the florist forgot to include a note and therefore the recipient didn't know who the flowers were from! 1-800-Flowers was apologetic and offered me a $10 gift certificate for future use in response, but this is the second time I've had this problem with this, and it makes me worried about how reliable they are.

I HAD TO CALL SEVERAL TIMES. THE LOCAL FLORISTS THEY HIRED SIMPLY DECIDED TO WAIT THROUGH THE WEEKEND TO MAKE THE DELIVERY-WHEN I NON LONGER NEEDED IT. THEY DID NOT OFFER TO FIND ANOTHER FLORIST FOR ME-BUT RATHER MADE ME WAIT UNTIL THE ORDER-WHICH WAS NO LONGER NEEDED WAS DELIVERED.
