I explained I had the air conditioner serviced the previous year by another company (read my review of Falso--and why I feel ripped off) and how that serviceman had filled it with refrigerant but the air conditioner had not worked after a few days when it was turned on and I knew it had a leak and needed more refrigerant. The receptionist explained that it must be a big leak to have not worked after only a couple of days and said it might not be feasible to fix it. I decided it was worthwhile to pay the service charge ($85) to have it looked at. The serviceman looked at the furnaces and then the air conditioners (2 separate units for 2 apartments) and determined they were in good shape. He had the tenant turn on the air conditioner for the 2nd apartment, which was running but not working. The serviceman came back to the furnaces and immediately said their...something I didn't catch...were attached to the wrong furnace and would need to be switched. I must have looked skeptical--I WAS skeptical--because he had me feel the air conditioning coil on the other furnace--ice cold-- and then the coil on the furnace for the 2nd apartment--room temperature. Meanwhile I could hear the fan running on the 2nd apartment furnace. He basically explained how an air conditioner works and why these 2 weren't and how he would need to switch the wires on the air conditioners....while working on them. Excellent service from a very hard working, patient, articulate, competent serviceman. Thanks, Pete.

The techs were courteous, extremely knowledgeable quick to resolve my problem. They were net, cleaned up any mess and removed old heater. I am impressed with their customer service, quality of work and competitive prices
I had Murray"s install a high efficiency furnace 2 years ago and a new central air unit last year. I recommend Murray"s to all my friends and neighbors. I will always use Murray"s for all my heating and air conditioning needs.
