They provided me with a few different options, they talked me through all my various options for how to put the air conditioning in. They were very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. 

Professional, they cleaned up after, I never even knew they have been here the place looks spotless.

Good, then bad, then good. Two service technicians misdiagnosed the whistling noise my furnace was making and I was charged $400. + for a part I probably didn't need. The third technician (thank you Brandon!) fixed the problem with a screwdriver (loose damper flap). Needless to say I was not happy about the $400. I paid initially. Dan, the owner, called me first thing the next morning and we discussed the problem and he informed I would be getting a full refund for the $400. part. He totally redeemed himself, otherwise this review would read quite differently. As long as I get my $ back, I will continue to use Murray's heating because other than this little problem the service has been excellent. Lesson learned....anytime I have work done again I will confirm that the problem is fixed before the repairman leaves my home #lessonsforafirsttimehomeowner!!

We have used Murray's in the past because of their excellent service. The appointment was set up for a specific time, not a "time window." The serviceman, Pete, showed up at the appointed time. He did an excellent job on our unit. He did a complete check of the unit and the thermostat. Pete was very friendly and professional. He even took time to give some "lovin" to our dog, Dawson!
We cannot recommend Murray's any more highly! They are an excellent family-owned company. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

They were punctual, knowledgeable, and able to accurate access and communicate what we needed for the situation in our house, far above the other 3 companies we checked out. We have an older house with challenging vents throughout the house. Rather than sell us the most expensive one available, they tailored it to a furnace which would be able to handle the back pressure. The heating and A/C have been working far better than before. Also, Michelle, who works in the office has patiently been working with us to get a discount due us from the power company, and has been in time and effort far beyond what we anticipated and is quick to get back to us. We are extremely happy with this company.

It did not go well! I contacted Murray's Heating & Air Conditioning LLC on August 8th, 2016 to make an appointment to obtain a free estimate to install central air conditioning. I spoke with Maria who set up an appointment for Daniel Murray, owner of Murray's Heating & Air Conditioning, to come to my home on Friday, August 12th, 2016 at 2:00pm. Without receiving a call to indicate he would be late, Daniel arrived at 2:40pm. So I said it was not a big deal and we proceeded to walk through our home and we discussed what we wanted to do and he made notes. His visit lasted about 35-40 minutes and at the end of it he asked for my email address which I provided. Since it was a Friday afternoon he said he would work on my estimate over the weekend and send me a detailed estimate to my email address. Much to my surprise, we never received an estimate or telephone call or any form of contact. So it was an easy decision for us drop any further consideration of working with Murray Heating & Air Conditioning. Instead, we spoke with another well rated Heating & Air Conditioning company from Angie's List who was more than happy to gives us a detailed and competitive estimate that we have contracted with. UPDATE 10/18/2016: It is unfortunate that I did not receive a timely estimate from Murray’s Heating & A/C. I did receive a message on our answering machine from Michelle Hajjer from Murray’s office on Tuesday, 10/5/2016 notifying me of the problem and asking me to call. I can only presume that my review on Angie’s List on 10/3/2016 triggered the call from Michelle. Michelle and I spoke on Wednesday, 10/6/2016 and I indicated our answering machine is always on to catch any missed calls and that my email address has been the same for 20 years. So Michelle sent me two emails each from a different originating email address and I received both of them. So I’m not sure why I didn’t receive either of their previous emails or the telephone call on August 29th by the office manager since their records have my correct email address and telephone number. I can only suggest that Murray’s may want to enhance their follow up procedure to include sending a copy of their proposal by regular mail as well. This should prevent a similar situation from occurring with someone else in the future.

"We are sorry that for an unknown reason you did not get the email proposal. A proposal was sent on August 20th. It was mentioned that you would be willing to wait until weather cooled down so it did take a week for the estimate. Our office manager also called on August 29th to see if you had any questions, leaving a message on your home phone answering machine ( it was a young girls voice). and then we resent the email estimate on September 3rd because we had not heard back. I have the email printouts, is it possible that we had the wrong email address?"

Though the repairman was professional, I believe I was ripped off in terms of the cost of the repair. The capacitor he replaced, I learned later, is a $15. to $20 item. The guy was here for not more than twenty minutes. Total charge, as I recall, about $250.00. Though I've marked below that I would hire this company again, I would certainly get an estimate of the cost first.

We are a flat rate company, which is the industry standard in this area, which means that part replaced includes the part, the warranty, the labor to install the part, and overhead expenses. We pride ourselves on our quality work and professionalism and after diagnosing the problem; going over the price with the customer. Also to avoid unnecessary service calls, regular annual maintenance is recommend, like noted on your invoice. During a cleaning a tech will examine equipment, such a bad capacitor and change it during preventative maintenance."

He usually comes out every fall. I have used them since then. They did a very good job since but it is just that ever since they got this new person in the office, when I have an issue or call to make an appointment, she says she will get back to me. Something is just not right, but the guys who work for them are awesome and I know them personally. They have been the same guys for years. The guys are professional and always knew what they were doing. The guy who worked on the phone scheduled well and I could even pay with the credit card. Suzan was good and she still works there but doing something else. It is such a small family and I know them. Being nice as she is, she did not want to bad mouth this other girl.

Two servicemen arrived on time.Cleanly Dressed.  Courteous . Went direct to the problem and they left to obtain the repair part  and had the unit repaired  and running within 2 hours.

This organization has installed my heating and air conditioning units in addition to service in excess of 10 years.

They have always rendered superior service, especially in cases of emergency at reasonable prices..

We called the company at 8:45 AM ,they set up appointment for 2:30PM and he arrive a little ahead of schedule.

He diagnosed the problem quickly, replaced the part and tested the unit.

He then spent at least 15 minutes giving us suggestions such as switch the auto fan switch to on at night to bring more cool air upstairs.

Conner and Brendan did an outstanding job.  Very knowledgeable and professional, answering all my questions. They worked on this project for 2 days.  Upon completion, they removed ALL of the old units and related equipment.  They did a complete clean up of the the work area, inside and out.  I am very pleased with the job.
I would highly recommend this company for any and all HVAC work.
I give them a 5+ star or excellent rating overall.
