I am not sure of the value of the deal, never having any old septic tanks filled in, but we were happy with the price for the job. We were quoted 700-800 and it came to 756.00.
Feel like we got a fair deal for both us and them.
They arrived on time and were done in about 2 hours.
They cleaned up after the project and took the debris from the well when they left.

Two installers arrived as scheduled early the next week and removed the old furnace, which was a real challenge. They were very neat and tidy, laying down a cover on the floor upstairs so that they did not track dirt or snow around the house. They worked steadily all day and into the evening, as the installation was complicated by the need to modify the duct work and to install an additional air return. Their work was outstanding and they explained what they were doing throughout the day. After they replaced the thermostat, they fired up the furnace and it worked perfectly. Our house was warm and toasty the rest of the winter. The furnace with installation cost a little over $3000 after the National Grid rebate and the Angie's list coupon for new customers, a price that was better than any of the other contractors quoted.
A few weeks ago I called to schedule the installation of the central air conditioner. Yesterday morning two different installers arrived and worked steadily throughout the day removing the old unit and hooking up the new one. They also explained everything they were doing and did an excellent job running the lines and hooking up the new unit. Because we agreed to purchase both the furnace and the AC, the coil was installed with the furnace back in February, which really made the whole thing very fast and efficient. Although it was not hot at the end of the day when they turned on the AC to test it, I was really pleased when the new central air conditioner cooled the house down very quickly and quietly. We'll be ready for the next heat wave. The cost of the new AC unit was $2300, again beating the price quotes from other contractors.
I also inquired about the cost of annual service calls, as it will be important to maintain the new equipment, and Murray's costs are comparable to the quotes I received from other contractors. They also said that they can service both the furnace and AC unit at the same time, which will save some money.
I really must say that everyone from Murray's Heating was extremely professional, courteous, and exceeded my expectations. They make customer satisfaction a priority. I recommend this company without hesitation.

When calling to schedule an appointment the receptionist is always helpful and friendly. We are kept up to date with any changes to schedule based on weather or other issues. The cost of hiring this company is worth it in terms of customer satisfaction and quality of service.
