This was an excellent experience for us in every respect. Dan Gilfillan met with us to introduce the services he could provide, then he prepared a tasting so that we could sample foods that we might select for the banquet. He had no trouble accommodating gluten-free and vegetarian preferences. He gracefully adjusted when we decided that we would cut our guest list nearly in half to make a more intimate wedding.
We held an outdoor wedding in the gazebo on the grounds behind the banquet facility and had a delicious buffet dinner in the upstairs room. We had 60 people. I honestly cannot imagine a better time. Everyone--some of whom work in restaurants--thought the meal was absolutely excellent. And the service was equally excellent: attentive and pleasant.
The price was also significantly lower than other venues we investigated.
