He was very nice, much stronger than me (and maybe smarter, too!) and quick.

I had hired Paul, but I live out in the Seattle area, so he was working directly with my older mother (in her 70s) back in Connecticut. He was so very trustworthy and honest and upfront about everything. Paul was also so flexible and accommodating around my mother's schedule. He was always so polite and kind to her. Paul also went way above and beyond the services we hired him for, when we ran into some significant resistance on the part of my mother's shyster condo property managers - who were being extremely difficult about forcing the reluctant upstairs unit owner to fix the continued leaking from his unit. Paul could not complete his finish work until the upstairs unit owner paid someone to fix his still leaking plumbing. The upstairs unit owner was very difficult to work with, refusing to fix his problems which caused her issues in the first place. To make it worse, mom's condo property managers were also very unhelpful and were trying to wash their hands of the whole problem. If it wasn't for Paul's steadfastness and direct communications with the property mangers, including writing and dropping off detailed letters and photos, as well as contacting the local county health board to notify them of this health violation in my mother's condo that those responsible refused to act on, we would still be struggling with these bad people and their unscrupulous ways. Thanks to Paul, being like an "agent" there for me in CT when I was out in Seattle trying to help, he was able to help convince those responsible to do what was right, rather than leave my elderly mother who lives alone on a fixed income, to live with a continued leak into her downstairs unit. Paul truly helped us resolve all the problems that made up the bigger part of this issue, and went well above and beyond what we asked of him, out of a sense of just trying to help out. I can't thank Paul enough for being directly part of restoring my mother's peace of mind and home back to a lovely place for her to live on her own independently.

He repaired the ceiling that had fallen down due to a leak. Drywalled and painted to match rest of bathroom. Hung shelves for me, that look like they are apart of the house. Fixed windows to close and replaced handles that I was told you couldn't get but he did. He was very friendly and informed me of everything he was doing step by step. He stayed within my price range for work to be done. He even came back on another day and did yard work that I couldn't do due to recent knee surgery for free. He stated he always does something for free for his customers. I have more work for him and will definitely be calling him back. I'd recommend him to my friends and family.
