Z&R called Mon. Sept 10--- no heat and night temps 49 degrees. Repairmen came 5 days in a row. Final serviceman said it was control panel. Friday, new panel was finally installed put in after 5 days. Now warm.

Technician was very professional and candid, but would not repair leak without installing an in-line valve due to liability issues. Quote for installing a valve ($600) was too high for me, so with technician's feedback/advice I decided to cap the line later myself at the T-junction in the basement (rather than installing a valve) since we don't actually use the fireplace gas line. I was disappointed that technician didn't do such a simple thing as capping the line himself for the service call fee, and maybe he would have capped it if he had the right sized cap on hand, but wasn't worth paying him to go get just a cap and return to install it at $80+/hr. Still, he was at our place for nearly an hour investigating the issue and discussing options, so at least we had his full attention and honest, informed opinion.

Great. No problems. Third time we’ve used Zenner & Ritter. Have always been pleased with their work and will continue to use them when needed.

We live in an older home, built around 1900, on the east side of Buffalo. Through the EmpowerNY program of NYSERDA, we qualified to have our house insulated at no cost to us. The lady set us up with Zenner & Ritter, but a few days before the job was to start, a man from there called & said they would not be coming by. Zenner & Ritter is also located on the East Side of Buffalo itself, so it can't be a question of geographic snobbery. I suspect it was just lack of motivation, which I have encountered many, many times around here. I would have given Zenner & Ritter a grade of "F" and only am willing to give a "D" because, with all their shortcomings, at least they were kind enough to call and tell us they would not do the job!!

It went well. It almost always does. I have two issues with Z&R - they didn't let me know when they were obliged to postpone an appointment because they had other emergencies. I found out when I called to confirm my appointment. The other issue is price for routine service. It's on the high side.

Great! Nate installed professionally, even going into our crawlspace under the house on a 90 degree day! Other installers wanted to run the lines along the outside of our house. Only Zenner & Ritter offered to go under the house so the unit could go into the backyard. Nate and his assistant were hardworking and knowledgeable. Tom, the electrician from Melton, was very knowledgeable and professional. Having had other dealings with Melton Electric was one of the reasons we went with Zenner & Ritter for our generator. Our salesman, Bill, also got us a great deal with promotions from Generac. All work was done efficiently and cleaned up afterward.

The two service representatives were very professional. They inspected the AC unit to determine where the AC unit was leaking cold air into the basement when the AC was on. The unit was seal to our satisfaction. We would definitely recommend Zenner and Ritter to our family and friends.

Very well. Rich explained all options, costs involved and was prompt, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend Rich for service. A neighbor saw the truck and came over to talk with Rich. He gave her all the information she asked about and told her how to proceed. Rich filled the air conditioner to get it working again and made arrangements to have a new one installed. Cost of refrigerant was deducted from cost of new air conditioner.

Terrible. Wouldn't provide time window, so missed a day of work waiting for them. Called mid-day and was told we were the next appointment. By day's end they still didn't call and didn't show, so we cancelled.

Branden and Scott were very professional. I felt very comfortable with them. They were very conscientious of my house and took every precaution to ensure nothing would go wrong. They cleaned my ducts with a new process and removed more debris than I expected. I highly recommend Branden and Scott! They work very hard to ensure the customer is very happy.

Mark C. is an outstanding tech. Upon arriving at my home he showed his professionalism by introducing himself. He was extremely thorough and answered all the questions we had about how the unit worked, since it was replacing one that was 24 yrs. old. Upon completion of the work I found both my basement and my backyard where the ac unit was installed was cleaned up to my satisfaction. It was so wonderful to feel cool air in my home on such a warm day. A great price and quality professional service, I would not hesitate to call Zenner & Ritter for any future plumbing needs.

Customer Service and the Tech's Professionalism, were second too none !! The fact that Zenner & Ritter sends a message with the Tech's picture and the approximate time of arrival, was impressive !!!!

No issues. Everyone was professional and great!

The technician (Richard) was very knowledgeable and performed the work on my boiler very well, indeed. He stayed over one hour until the heating system was functioning properly and made suggestions for some future work involving my leaky water pump which I may have to replace soon. If that be the case, I will request his service from Zenner & Ritter again. (Being a long-time costumer of this company which has installed and is servicing our Heating and Cooling Systems, I would have appreciated a somewhat lower price in the form of a courtesy discount perhaps.)

Tech Dave did a professional and excellent job. Had shopped around and Zenner and Ritter was the most straightforward with info regarding price etc... Didn’t feel ripped off like other estimates I received. Will definitely used them if needed in the future.
