Description of Work: Circuit board fried in 2 year old unit. The appointment time was quick and convenient, they came promptly when promised. The unit was too old to be covered under warranty, but the circuit board was replaced at a nominal fee.

Description of Work: they were great. I had called them for an estimate for a new garage door, as when I bought my house, the garage door did not close all the way. I was informed by my neighbor, it had been like that for years. I assumed I needed a new door. I had three estimates. Ortners was the only one who said I didn't need a new door, just some simple adjustments. I did opt to have the bottom panel replaced, as it had a hole in it...that was the majority of the cost. They saved me major money with their honesty.

Description of Work: These are guys are terrible. They are borderline rude and disorganized. When I bought my home in December 2012 they serviced my door for $300. Despite preventative maintanance, the door became wedged in the frame and is jammed. I called them Friday. No response I called them Monday they said they would have someone here this week. On Tuesday I called again and they didn't have a time scheduled yet. They said they would call Wednesday and they haven't. I wold not recommend these people as they charged me top dollar to tune up the garage door and are not standing up to their work. I called their competitors who we're lite, organized and scheduled a ray in under two minutes for the next day Y not standing u

Description of Work: Technician showed up on time to repair an overhead garage door mechanism that had loosened from the track. He made the repair and lubricated the mechanisms for both garage doors. Service was friendly and professional. I would definitely use Ortner's again and recommend them to anyone who needs service.

 + -1 moreVery well. The company was so busy the day I called that they were going to come the next day - which was fine, but the owner, Dave, squeezed me in and took care of me. The technician, Rob, was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't mind that he had to climb through my garage window to fix the door and then endure the sauna inside. He did a professional job in sweltering heat. I was very pleased.

 + -1 moreOriginally called because old spring had broken, but when service person came out and we talked, it made more sense to replace the entire door because it was in bad shape anyway. He gave me estimates for a few different doors, and I settled on one he had in stock. He returned 3 days later and completed installation in an afternoon. Good work, cleaned up, and well done.
Description of Work: Replace old steel garage door with new door, including all rails and springs. Remove old door; clean up.

 + -1 moreGarage door would not open. I was at work so I asked my wife to look for the problem. The company arrived in under 3 hours and the repair took about 1 hour. Repair mechanic showed my wife a contributing factor to the cable breaking. It was a previous repair by a less reputable but cheap company. The repair cost was reasonable, the mechanic friendly, I would recommend. I do most of my own repairs, but changing the springs on a two car garage door is very dangerous and I always pay for a professional. The person that answers the phone for this company is very dry and could be more friendly.

Description of Work: I called up Dave Kozlowski and asked him for an estimate. He said he would come over, which he did very promptly, and gave me an estimate for a garage door & 3 car remotes! The work was done on delivery date and the work was awesome! His estimate was right on and he followed up with a call & text message to check on our satisfaction! I am very pleased with his service & price! By the way, I recommended a co-worker to him and she said he was AWESOME and the work was done within a week! Thanks Koz!
