ENVIRO-CARE

As we unpacked the boxes of our belongings items were found that were chipped, broken or missing.  These items were never replaced nor were we ever reimbursed, though it was discussed.  A crystal bowl was chipped, the base of an antique lamp broken,
a foot stool returned missing a foot, one of a pair of sterling salt and pepper shakers was missing ( the remaining ,one taken to match with its mate) and an antique belleek decorative planter was missing.  (I did find one on ebay and gave it to the man working in our home but never heard from the owner).
Our refrigerator was nicked in several places when it was being brought back into our home; an amount was discussed as compensation but never arrived. 
The hardwood in the living room was scraped because the door to the porch was hung too low.  There were some other flaws in the wood that we hadn't seen due to all the boxes stacked there.
The men set up a work site on our front porch where things were measured and cut etc.  When I was cleaning up out there after they had left I noticed a hole poked in the siding as well as a dent.
They repaired the grout about a month after it was installed and it has continued to crumble; never put a an edge at the door of the bathroom.  The wallpaper was not completely removed and it was painted over.  There are paint drips throughout the rooms that were painted.  In one spot the paint peeled down to the bare wood within a matter of months; there was no sanding or surface prep.  the worst was the wood flooring laid in the kitchen.  One half was immediately replaced but there were still spaces between the strips and many of them are splintered and/or cracking!   After working in the house for over a month after we had moved back in the owner of the company said that they would finish the kitchen and  be back the following spring to deal with paint touch ups, etc.  I called his number several times during the summer but my calls weren't returned.

They were just amazing.  I would recommend them highly.  They did everything from drying the house out to ripping out walls and ceilings.  They rebuilt everything.  The painting job was probably the best I’ve ever had.  A private plumber fixed the pipes.  They were reliable and very clean. Every day when they left, everything was cleaned up. The work they did was excellent.  The price was reasonable.  We went over the check list a number of times.  If there was something on the check list and I was trying to carve down the bill, I’d say “I’ll do that myself.” I had three or five estimates done.  They were not the cheapest and they were not the highest.

The subcontractors they worked with were wonderful, especially Colvin Cleaners, the hardwood floor installers and wallpaperer. The job took almost seven months in which the house was unable to be lived in. Difficult to get changes to job orders easily incorporated. At times only one person doing any work on house. Billing and paperwork headache. Team members were helpful and courteous.

I was very pleased with Enviro Cares work overall. They fixed damage that another company caused, and they were always on time. I would recommend them to others.
