Great. They were very professional and did a beautiful job. A week after the stove was installed, I noticed there was a faulty part. They came the next morning, right on time, and replaced the part. I've been using it almost every day since with no further problems. I originally wanted to use this stove as a backup in case I lost power, but it is so beautiful and realistic, I use it all the time.

I previously used Black Hat when I moved into my new home several months ago.  Nick fixed the old remote which was not working and cleaned the fireplace glass. He went over every detail about working this remote since we were unfamiliar with the fireplace. I had called Black Hat back in March because the old remote was not working.  Unfortunately the box{ which reads the remote} had a lot of corrosion. I asked Nick to replace the unit, thus giving me a new box and remote.  Again, he explained in detail how the remote works, how to avoid corrosion and programmed the remote so that the fireplace turns off when it reaches a certain temp. I highly recommend Black Hat.

The work was done beautifully to my fussy perception of what I was looking for. Bob came with great ideas of how to solve the many problems I had caused by damage from a long-ago fire that had been covered over. The work involved  putting in a new lintel and support for the upper bricks, removing firebrick on rear of the wall, adding a new marble hearthstone, adding and finishing  drywall over damaged brick (that was now properly supported). Installing 10' of trac pipe for the electrical unit for a Valor Windsor Chrome Arch Fireplace with fan and remote control. Black Hat also obtained any building permit needed for the work. The finished fireplace is now a show-stopper!

They did a good job.  I had several problems with the ignition switch and each time Black Hat sent somebody over to try and fix the problem.  Finally, and older gentleman was able to rectify the problem and I have had no further issues (fingers crossed). I really enjoy my gas fireplace now that I don't have all the mess of the wood burning fireplace.

They were amazing. Prompt and professional.  They even customized the top of the fireplace mantel in our second room because I had wall units already there and the mantel top was larger than the space allowed.  My husband and I could not be more pleased with their commitment to customer satisfaction.  They were worth the cost....they didn't leave us in a lurch because the manufactured size of the mantel exceeded the space we had. 

Bob helped me design the outdoor kitchen of my dreams.   He was professional and very knowledgeable.  He as able to understand my vision and guided me through the process of designing the kitchen.    I am grateful for the suggestions he offered--his attention to detail made all the difference in the world.  Everything was custom so this knowledge saved me time and money. 
 His guys were an absolute pleasure to have at my house.  Extremely polite, respectful and considerate of my very busy household, curious kids and dogs.  They worked diligently through the weather, good or bad.  They are extremely talented--I have a lot of company and everyone is so impressed by their stonework.  It is impeccable!!  
My husband and I had planned on selling this house in the spring--but now we are considering staying.  We just love the new patio and kitchen so much it has improved our quality of life!  We spend more time outdoors, love cooking and entertaining.  It feels like we have an addition to our house--the outdoor room.  Even if we do sell, I will be calling Bob immediately!!

The service is absolutely wonderful and they are really good. They are dependable, when they say they are coming, they are on time. They are qualified people. Their price was comparable to others. Before we bought our fireplace from them, we called some other places and they were very reasonable. They were clean and picked up. I can't say a bad thing about them.
