YNY KITCHEN DESIGN

The architect overseeing our renovation found and contacted this company for the Omega Dynasty cabinets we wanted.The price quote was lower than expected, and we went ahead in spite of some early signs of non-responsiveness to inquiries. It took longer than anticipated to get all the correct sizes of wood pieces, and installation occurred in phases over 2 months for this reason - though this would have been OK if they eventually finished it. The main problem was that YNY seemed to consider the job finished even though we, and our architect, did not. Cabinet exteriors have raw (unfinished) wood and plywood edges with visible screws and pencil marks; one of the cabinet interiors has protruding nails. The door/drawer faces are very misaligned and because we have been unable to align them we wonder whether or not the faces themselves are square. Finally, the YNY installer had cut the plywood facing for the kitchen island in the wrong place and unsuccesfully tried to hide this very visible mistake with a lot of wood filler. After installation our architect tried to work out a plan for having the company return to cover the poorly patched mistake with wood trim, apply trim to finish rough edges, and adjust the door/drawer alignment, but YNY never responded to multiple requests to resolve these matters.

I REALLY LIKE WHAT THIS COMPANY DID. MY CABINETS LOOK FANTASTIC. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THEY PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO DETAIL. THEY DO A REAL GOOD JOB AND I WOULD RECOMMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.

THIS COMPANY DID A WONDERFUL JOB WITH MY KITCHEN AND BATHROOM. THE DESIGN OF THE TILES THEY USED IN THE BATHROOM ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL. I THOUGHT THE COLORS THEY USED IN THE KITCHEN WERE WONDERFUL.
