1. They didn't estimate the amount of space needed and couldn't fit all our belongings on the truck. I even called a week prior to the move to say that I needed to add a few pieces of furniture and the salesperson, Filip, said "no problem". The salesperson said that the email he sent me explained that they were providing a 26-foot truck and the boxes were bigger than they estimated. He said I would have to pay an additional $2500 to ship the items that didn't fit. I explained that I'm not in the moving business and therefore how would I possibly know whether my belongings would fit in a 26-foot truck! That's their business to determine how much space is needed by taking a proper inventory. After several wasted back-and-forths where he just repeated himself, he finally had a manager, Peter, call me who acknowledged that it was in fact their error and that I would not have to pay extra. As we were relocating from NY to TX, they said they would ship the items they'd already packed to arrive two days later (which they did) but that the other items would be sent in a consolidated shipment (i.e. with other people's items), even though I contracted them to do a straight delivery. I suggested they repack all of the items into a larger 26-foot truck (they sent the smaller of the 26-foot versions) and they said they would not. They said the remaining items to be delivered in a consolidated shipment that would arrive in 1 to 14 business days (one day is unrealistic as it's a 24-hour drive but that's beside the point). I contacted them multiple times for an update on the delivery and they kept telling me it takes 1 to 14 business days. After escalating the issue, they just avoided my emails. On business day #13, I called and the person I spoke with, Stefan, said he was 99% sure the items were still in the storage facility in Brooklyn. I was furious and demanded to speak with an owner, of which he transferred me to Ivana. She indicated that it would be an ADDITIONAL 12 to 17 days and when I asked why I should believe them, she could not answer. First, they messed up by not sending the right size truck, then they committed to delivering the remaining items in a timeframe that they completely failed to do, and now they said an additional 12 to 17 days, which is on top of the 20 days I had already been waiting. 2. They broke a bulb in our crawl space and left the glass shards on the ground and never told me. 3. Our local police ran the truck's license plate (they were Oklahoma plates) and it indicated as being reported stolen. It took 45 minutes to resolve the issue and as a result delayed the process of loading the truck. I'm unsure how in the world there are so many positive reviews and question their validity. Zero accountability. Zero integrity. Zero professionalism.
