Frank Frasca replaced our shared driveway two years ago. Our neighbor's driveway and ours (one driveway split down the middle as a shared driveway) were two different colors of concrete. Not great looking, but no big deal, right? Then this winter it started snowing, and the one side of the driveway started coming to pieces, crumbling with the snow. The other side is fine. The one side now looks like the moon (or as my other nieghbor with who we do not share a driveway) put it "Your driveway looks like mine but mine is 25 years old!". Frank Frasca says the reason our side is dissolving is because of salt, however, if one were to salt their driveway, would they salt the entire driveway, or just the one side? The point is our neighbor's side, the one who shares the other half of the driveway - his side is fine. Frank Frasca saw this and said to me defensively, "I've been sued three times and won every time". An admission of poor work in my book - I never threatened to sue him, only asked that he do the right thing and fix his poor work. Buyer beware, he's not responsible for his work - and our basement is taking water because of it. I'll admit, I didn't do my research ahead of time and left Frank Frasca to be hired by my neighbor. If in doubt, you'll see he's not accredited by the Better Business Bureau (D rating). I understand mistakes, and blaming the concrete pour and offering to fix it would be what any contractor should do. Instead Frank Frasca is ignoring calls, and alluding that it's perfectly reasonable for a driveway he installs to fall apart in under 2 years allowing water to leak into your basement.
