My overall experience with Gaudioso Contracting has been phenomenal. Clear communication, flawless execution of the project and courteous service. As a single woman I have been very wary of contractors and dealing with them. I had a very pleasant and professional experience working with Gaudioso and my bathroom is beautiful.

An agent for the contractor called us after our initial attempt to reach him. At our invitation, the agent came by the following day, discussed our required work and made some good suggestions that he assured us would not add to the cost. He gave us a preliminary estimate, and then emailed his final proposal that arrived on the date he said it would. It was very close to the initial estimate. He was agreeable when we had to postpone the start of the work. When we were ready to start, he arranged a starting date, and two workmen came to our apartment on that day. The agent said that job would take 3 working days. He started on a Monday and finished the following Monday. One day was lost because plaster wasn't dry enough to paint over. One day was lost because we had to be out of town, We were very pleased with the job they did and we love the improvement in how our kitchen looks. The workmen were professional, they did a good job, and they thoroughly cleaned up the kitchen area at the end of each day.

For the most part everything went smoothly. They did a great job of demolishing and removing all the debris from the bathroom and apartment. There were some problems with the plumbing supply store that I ordered all the fixtures and marble top for the vanity. The marble top kept arriving cracked, chipped, etc. That went on for 3 weeks. Finally, I ordered the marble from the contractor's person and it came in perfect. However, I'm still waiting on the medicine cabinet from the Park Slope Plumbing Supply. The cabinet wood didn't match the vanity at first, they sent the wrong one, once inn came in damaged. Finally, they went with another company. I'm waiting for the 3rd time for them to come and install it. Every week is another story. This Monday it's supposed to be installed, 7/19. However, the bathroom turned out beautiful and I"m very happy. I highly recommend Gaudioso Contracting. Anthony the owner is very responsive to your needs and tries his best to accommodate you.

The roof wasn?t done entirely properly. They guy who did the work was pleasant and obliging; however, the work roof was skimped and I had to spend a good deal of money having someone else rectify it. What had been on the bathroom ceiling was pressed tin but it was rusted so they removed it. I found a plastic replacement that looks like pressed tin but won?t rust. The price was very good for the roof but it was a bit high for the bathroom ceiling.

They were ok, but not wonderful. Someone came initially to do the estimate and it was for painting the bathroom and cleaning out the shower stall and then also an estimate just for the painting. They ended up charging me the higher of the two estimates, but didn't clean out the shower stall. I should have brought that up to them, but I didn't. It was difficult to make an appointment with the painter, but the painting was fine. He prepared the surface, painted and it looks clean and well done. There are no major problems, it was an acceptable paint job. I think they are higher priced than I want to pay, but I don't know what other painters would charge.

He was very responsive and we liked him a lot. Unfortunately he has not been able to start the work as he has been trying to get the permission and permits from the board. My daughter was very pleased with him. He was very thorough. He was into what we wanted to do. He gave a lot of suggestions. He was very easy to work with and that?s why we are excited to go with him. Our house is a co-op building so we have to get the permission from co-op board before starting the work. It just takes forever. He has a lot of experience in this field. He was easy to talk to. He seemed very knowledgeable. He did have pictures of a couple of things that he had done. We liked the look of his work and that?s why we picked him. We have had couple of appointments with him and he has always been there on time.

Everyone from the company was very professional and courteous, from the contractor who gave the free estimate and continued checking in with me through the entire job, to the foreman and crew who did beautiful and detailed work and worked with me until the completion of the job to my satisfaction.

They were on time, finished the job in 3 days, touched up where necessary. They moved everything we asked them to. They were neat, and cleaned up after themselves. They were pleasant to have in the apartment. We were very happy with the job. It was a difficult one, because we used a number of different colors. They guaranteed the work and told us that if we found anything wrong, they would come back. They even helped my husband move the extra paint down to our storage compartment. I would recommend them highly!!

They did a beautiful job. They were very thorough. I was very pleased. Everything was positive. The men were professional, courteous, respectful, and clean. They did good quality work. I have seen pictures of other jobs they have done, and they are beautiful as well. If I needed them to come back for anything they did. It was very well constructed.

Great contractor, courteous, on time. Great communication and followup. Beautiful finished product! Could not ask for more. Will definitely use Gaudioso Contracting and recommend them in the future.

CertaPro Painting was fabulous. They were professional and exceeded our expectations. We had a strict time frame for the work to be done, and Anthony and his crew came through. Our apartment looks beautiful. I definitely plan to use them for all future painting jobs.
