Description of Work: It was very expensive but he did a beautiful job. I live in NYC so I expect the cost....but if I lived anyplace else I'd pay 1/8th what he charged. But, time is money and he arrived on time, did the job fast and cleaned up afterwards. He was a totally professional guy but next time I call I will do it after I win the lottery.

Description of Work: We had a problem with our heat after installing a new boiler. The company that did the installing said the problem was inside the walls and they would have to open them all up and replace the pipes, to the tune of $4400. We called about 5 other plumbers who all said the same thing. Finally called Aladdin who had done the original renovation about 27 years ago. Their heating specialist was stumped too and said he would call the original owner of the company, who had done the work. I did not hear back from them and called every week for about 5 weeks. After I threatened to leave a negative review here they called the next day and came over again. They figured out the problem, something no other plumbers could do. Fixing it was relatively easy and inexpensive. They did a great job, had the smarts to figure it out, but needed prodding to get it done in a timely manner.

+ -1 moreThe workman arrived a few minutes after the 2 hour time slot that I had been told which wasn't an issue for me as I was home for the day. The plumber was delightfully professional, knowledgeable, efficient and tidy. All the work was performed in slightly less time than the minimum billable time of an hour and I am very happy with the finished job.
Description of Work: Installation of a new kitchen sink faucet which I supplied. Also, repair of a leaking toilet with a flushometer that required parts which I supplied as well.

+ -1 moreRepesentative came on time, and patiently waited for a 1/2 hr or so until we were ready for his assistance (sink was delivered late). He was friendly & pleasant -- he even jumped in to help install the stainless steel counter with welded-in sink while he was there. The only complaint I have is that he didn't check the gas valve for leaks after he hooked it up. My carpenter noticed the gassy odor after the Aladdin guy had long gone. Aladdin also didn't check to see if my new appliances came with the hookup materials (which they did) & used his own. I ended up just giving him mine as a trade, but it seems like these days the stores sell you stoves and dishwashers with the hookup set as a package.

+ -1 moreThey were great at coming to see the site and estimating the project, and they were great at execution. The only problem was that on the day they were supposed to do the job, the team thought they were coming to spec the project. Because of this, they had no tools or supplies and we lost part of a day and had to reschedule. But to their credit, they did as much of the work as they could so when they came back; it only took a couple of hours to finish. And they were accommodating about the price in response to this inconvenience to me and my family.
Description of Work: They installed two hose bibs, which for the plumbing challenged (as I was), means the faucet outside your house where you attach your garden hose. In front they had to drill through about a foot of concrete and tap into the pipe that comes off our main water feed. In back, they had to tap into a cold water pipe in my boiler closet and run a new pipe about nine feet through a series of metal studs behind the sheet rock in my dining room and out the back of the house.

+ -1 moreThese men were so professional and courteous that they fixed a small leak in my kitchen after they finished this job and didn t charge me a dime for this. They really care about the service they give and their prices are really good. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Our outside pipes had frozen and then cracked, so they came out and at first sweat them and then replaced the cracked piping and female connector located outside. This took about 2 hours or so to complete.

Description of Work: I had 2 separate shower stall knob leaks. They opened up the knobs, tightened, screwed, etc, and stopped the leaks.

We had all of our questions answered immediately. We were very happy with how friendly everyone was. We felt like they really cared about doing the best job they could.
Description of Work: Aladdin Plumbing & Heating installed all of the new plumbing in the kitchen and bathroom by running the new water lines to the sink and installing the new toilet. They also installed the water lines to the kitchen sink.
