Kevin did a great job! My kitchen was not in good shape but he did both painting and wallpapering. It looks like a new room! Definitely go with Kevin if you want truly professional work.

Kevin and Shamrock were great

Shamrock Painting and Wallpaper did a fantastic job! I needed my apartment walls repainted so I called Shamrock Painting & Wallpapering. They were easy to communicate with, arrived on time and completed the job to my satisfaction and on time. They did an excellent job painting my entire apartment and patching some electrical outlet holes I needed moved. I called them again for another painting project I had, and they were prompt to reply and give me a quote.

I've hired scores of contractors over 25 years. I am impressed at how responsive and transparent Kevin of Shamrock was in dealing with me. He sent Carlos to complete the job and he represented Shamrock well. I don't do a lot of wall papering, but now I've met Kevin-I KNOW I have great go to source.

They did such an incredible job! My air conditioning was pointed right at the wallpaper and made a few bubbles and they came right back for free and fixed it, even showing me what the problem was, how to avoid it, and how to fix it by myself! They did such a beautiful job lining up the panels and we really couldn’t be happier. They turned our son’s room into a magical forest. Highly recommend!

Great work! Quick response after my request and Kevin, the installer was very punctual, professional and he did an incredible job!! He did the wallpaper for both our salons locations and it’s amazing. It’s not the traditional regular wallpaper, it’s peel and stick a bit tricky, but he worked his magic. I am so happy with the result. I am highly recommend Kevin for sure.

Overall this experience was hugely disappointing and stressful. It also created great anxiety for me as the provider got quite violent in his oral communications with me and frankly I was fearful for my wellbeing. On Friday July 25, Kevin Granahan was one of 4 individuals I requested quotes from. He was the only one who took no measurements and after only about 20 minutes gave me a quote on the spot. $2500 for full paint job, including the trim and the top part (cannot remember what that part is called), the ceiling of the bottom floor bathroom, the inside of the bedroom closets, fixing the doors to the main bedroom closet (which had some hooks that needed to be removed, the door fixed, and repainted), and a few handyman odds and ends like fixing some closet doors that were unhinged, as well as trash removal after the job was done. I should have known something was off when this guy gave a quote on the spot when everybody else took a few days to get back to me. this guy didn't even measure the unit. The deal was half of the money before starting the work, and the remaining half upon completion. There was no signed contract. Again, I should have known something was off, but I needed the job done. I sent him $500 over venmo so he could buy paint. The remaining $750 of the first half payment I brought in cash and paid it when I let the guy into the unit on Wednesday July 20. By 5pm on Thursday July 21 the guy said the job was done. I was extremely surprised as everyone else I had bid on the project suggested that the work would take 3-4 days. I went to see the results on Friday July 22 and that's when I found out a number of issues: paint stains on various wooden and tile floors, trash in the apt, sloppy paint job with multiple stains in various spots, none of the handymen jobs were completed, and the closet doors in the main bedroom had not been fixed. I called the guy to let him know I was not pleased with the results. He blew up, saying that I had told him I was not going to be living in the apt (as if me renting out the apt rather than living in it somehow meant that I should be happy paying for a mediocre paint job), he offered to come fix it the following week. The issues with that approach were that the bad paint job put me off track in terms of my open house schedule - I couldn't just have painters in the apt while I was still trying to get the place rented out. Also, I work every day, and having to take more time off was not really an option. The guy again got ****** "well, you let me in yesterday, why can't you let me in again next week?". Again, the guy had complete disregard for my time and the fact that I (too) have a life. At this point, his attitude was extremely unnerving, and I was feeling unsafe. I did not really want to have to face this man again. He seemed off. I then checked out his company online and it appears that they are not licensed in the State of New York - which I find highly disturbing. This might even question the legality of his operations. At this point I am willing to just walk away having paid for shoddy work (at 50% of the quoted value). I will never again use this man, and folks should be aware of this experience. Kevin also threatened to take me to court, boasting at the fact that he has had to go to court to get paid. Again, another huge red flag that I wish had been disclosed on the Angi website. I feel that not enough information was provided about this contractor, and perhaps they should not be allowed to operate on this platform.

Great job all around. Comprehensive proposal with competitive pricing. Thorough job done. Was communicative through about questions and timeline. Even went back at end and fixed scratches from us / other contractors. Kevin did a great job.

Kevin performed the job as per the scope of work on the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. He filled all holes in the walls, spray painted a primer coat and a flat finish coat on the walls and ceiling. He spray painted the 9 doors and kitchen with a primer coat and a finished coat of semi gloss paint. The job was completed on time and within budget.
