They were fast, efficient and we couldn't be more pleased. We had issues lugging our sofa up the stairs due to its size, they managed through clever worksmanship, managed to get it through our window. So impressive.
There was a small mishap with regards to a table that got damaged. They are taking care of it, no questions asked at absolutely no cost to us. I am thrilled with the work they did and how they handled every single aspect of our large move.
They completed the move in the two days they contracted for, and didn't damage a thing. They packed all our things carefully and carried them without damaging the walls in either location. The movers were cheerful and extremely hard working. We were very impressed. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends and family. A rare find: an excellent, honest, reliable moving company!
Not sure what happened. Contacted agency based on Angie list reviews. They immediately contacted me and sent an estimator to my home to review the move. He was very pleasant, professional and helpful. He gave me an immediate quote that included both storage and non-storage services. I received other bids but felt best with the one from Moving Man. I sent an email the following week informing them that I would like to go ahead and hire them. I did not receive a response. I called the office and was told that if I was going to change dates than it might change the quote and the estimator would contact me. He never called me. Two days later I called the office again and was told only the estimator could contact me and they would leave him a message to call me. He never called back. Its now been over a week since I attempted to give them my business. Obviously, I 'm going with someone else but would have appreciated the courtesy of a call. I have no idea why they would go through the trouble of giving a quote if they had no intention of doing the job. Very disappointed.
UPDATE: After posting review, the company contacted me and explained problem with communication. I was a little apprehensive but decided to go with them. I'm very glad I gave them a second chance as they did a wonderful job. The crew were punctual and extremely friendly and professional in packing and preparing the apartment for the move. The guys on the delivery and set up end were equally professional and wonderful to work with. There were a few very minor damages which were appropriately dealt with. I highly recommend them.

Getting out of my high-rise apartment wasn't too bad but putting the furniture into the duplex was a little more challenging as I have a few steps going into the duplex and some steps going into the bedrooms downstairs. They completed the task in the 7-hrs that was estimated by the estimator who came out days before the move. The estimator by the way was excellent-right on point and even set me up with a box delivery before the move so I could pack some things that I wanted to pack to save on money. They were careful with my breakable items and the glass shelves in my curios were taken care of in a very particular manner. The only small issue I had was a personal one at the end of the move. The balance of my payment was to be placed on my credit card which the foreman wanted to write all the information from down on a form and take back to the office-which is their standard procedure. Because I have had credit card info stolen in the past I was hesitant to write that information down and I ended up calling it in to the office which was no big deal for anyone.
The price was acceptable and I plan to move more furniture out of my storage in the future and will definitely use them again.
